I remember many on here last season getting a bit resentful regarding Koeman. Tinkerman was one of the phrases I remember, playing some out of position and making odd substitutions. Yes in the end getting 6th spot was more than welcome but in fairness it was a very strange season where upon most of the big clubs misfired which I think contributed to Leicester winning the prem by some margin. I'm not upset at Koeman going, I liked him but was not his biggest fan and I think he will take a huge gamble being the savior of Everton, this will either make him or break him as a manager with the huge expectations on his shoulders. I for one am excited about getting a new manager and the changes it will bring and am happy to witness some of the big guns splashing out the big money and failing miserably.

We need a manager that is good enough to get us in the top 6 but not good enough to be head hunted by other clubs.

I was under the impression that Koeman hadn't met the Everton board in any case. Ask the agent if he himself has met their board.

Agree with this, the money he had to spend, the players he inherited, he should have done much better.

Not bothered if Koeman goes, what worries me is what players he will tempt away from us.

I agree that some of the responses were shall we say a little infantile, but I suggest that the Everton fan posting on this forum was fully aware of some of the responses he would provoke.

To be honest I thought the response was rather subdued considering his only aim was to wind up!.

No not really, getting use to it each summer and yet we still seem to do well.

That was truly fekin awful. How typical that as a squad we are a really exciting prospect but unfortinately we have a clueless pensioner for a manager.
