Big sam deserves everything he gets, but what annoys me further is the fact that I find it hard to believe the likes of The Telegraph do this type of undercover op because they feel morally responsible to highlight corruption in football. The truth of the matter is that they do it to sell newspapers!. Events such as phone tapping and paying bungs for stories etc by certain media outlets shows them to be just as corrupt. This sting is full of hypocrisy.

Back to your original comments, I feel dissapointed that after so many great seasons of late it seems that we have thrown the towel in with respect to pushing on. I understand if the current owner doesn't want to compete with the big boys financially, this club is not her dream, it was her fathers, but it does beg the question "What's the point?". A successful business in her eyes probably differs from ours, making a profit and not losing money is probably her priority whereas we want success on the pitch and entertaining football. Unfortunately, the sad thing is that most clubs outside of the top 6 will probably have the same issues and again begs the question "Whats the point?".

For me the Europa League is the defining moment for Puel, I am holding out the vague hope that his persistence with this diamond formation is because he feels it will work better against European clubs. There were signs it was starting to work against Arsenal but the fact is our front line will still be impotent whoever we play without a rejig of the formation. So basically scrub what I initially said as it is complete hogwash..............Coat anyone?.
