Overall not bad at all, the negatives for me is that we are giving alot of possession away playing hoofball especially from Forster. Clasie poor again and Mclean finding it tougher today. We are going to be under more pressure 2nd half but I hope we dont sit back as they are weak at the back. Hopefully we can get better service to Austin. -
Agree, but with a lot more characters back then, whatever happened to Le God the Second Coming, he was very poetic and hilarious.

Scoring our issue again.

Dont know

Asking a lot of us to get anything now from a top Italian side putting 10 men on their goal line.
-
Well that is how to put the ball in the back of the net!
-
Cheers, will give it a go.

I'm all over the place, commentary about 1 minute in front of video.

A better start to the season.

Impressed with Redman, strange game though, all seems a bit flat including atmosphere. Still think Austin will score although he had an ordinary first half.

Getting near Osvaldo came with added risks!

I think whatever manager we have we will perform the same as we have done for many years. We have good players but we do not have star players. We have players who are good squad players but no players that have that extra something else individually. Rashford has potential to have a little bit more in him and perhaps Alli, but the rest are good premiership team players but in a international squad lack that certain something to make a difference. Had Le God have been given a good run in the England team he would have been that sort of player who would have made a real difference, unfortunately we no longer have that type of player with that extra bit of star dust.

Rose because of his attacking threat, defensively not much in it.

A good result considering our track record there. Puel definitely seems to know how to grind results out even if it is not the most visually stimulating. Hopefully Boufal will give us that extra bit of quality and eye candy when he is fit.

Blown up out of all proportion imo, a bit like the Express predicting the worse winter in history and we end up getting a dusting of snow that melts by mid day.

How much did we pay for Gardos?

If only those investigating corruption were not corrupt themselves.
-
Is it proven to be corruption? From what I've heard he said that it would all have to be okayed by the FA first. More than likely he has lost his job for being direspectful to Woy and Neville etc. Yes his comments about player ownership were dodgy but the reporters were trying to manipulate him into a gaff and they got it. Presidents, priministers, The Queen have all made gaffs when they thought they were having a private conversation and he's no different. In any case, I am glad he has gone as he is not the man for the Englad job, he has a history of being dodgy on and off the field and the FA should also be accountable for putting him there in the first place. Sorry you have got a problem with my point of view!.

Is entrapment really their job? I thought their job was to report news not create it. Why dont they just tell the powers that be if they have an inclination something untoward is going on?, because they want to sell papers!. Plus, newspapers need to look in their own back yard first.
-
Big sam deserves everything he gets, but what annoys me further is the fact that I find it hard to believe the likes of The Telegraph do this type of undercover op because they feel morally responsible to highlight corruption in football. The truth of the matter is that they do it to sell newspapers!. Events such as phone tapping and paying bungs for stories etc by certain media outlets shows them to be just as corrupt. This sting is full of hypocrisy.
-
Agreed, in fact I would go as far as to say that a couple of our backup players should be in our strongest squad.
-
This. The FA need a complete overhaul as they are as much to blame for hiring this dodgy geezer. Perhaps as a result we may get an England manager who is an actual upgrade on Hodgson and who is more interested in improving a shipwreck of a team rather than lining his own pocket.

Austins flick on for Tadics goal was sublime.
