  1. Ivory, apparently.
  2. Nail polish remover doesn't leave any stain, you just need to be careful nothing comes off the sponsor logo by pulling it away from the shirt as soon as it starts to lift. There's sometimes a very faint outline of the shape left behind, but that comes out after a wash or two.
  3. This is exactly the method I have successfully used for several of my shirts. You soak it rather than just rub, and then the sponsor will peel off. If you use in on the front of the shirt directly onto the logo, it can make the ink spread off the plasticky stuff and onto the fabric of the shirt...
  4. Have you seen Boro's new shirt though? It's horrendous
  5. If Tonda is banned for any period of time, we should appoint Bielsa in his place. The internet would lose its shit.
  6. You know things got bad when you find yourself agreeing with Simon Jordan on a daily basis - he's been consistently good about this whole saga
  7. Is an FA ban, which everybody seems to have accepted as coming, actually likely? Where I work, bullying interns to do shit they don't want to would be an internal disciplinary matter. The regulatory board we answer to wouldn't get involved. If the acts were illegal and due legal process had taken place (like it has with us and the EFL) that would be the end of it. 'Bringing the game into disrepute' is basically a victimless crime the FA uses to be seen to be doing something. Fuck the FA. Fuck the EFL. Fuck Middlesboro. Fuck Pompey. Fuck 'em all. We are the Saints.
  8. It was Spurs away on the opening day of the season. A 4-1 tonking if I remember correctly.
  9. We're going to play Hull in the final, lose, and then the EFL fixtures supercomputer is going to send us away to Boro on the opening day of next season.
  10. The best Saints goal ever is Neil Ruddock's penalty vs Newcastle in 1989, which ended that mammoth winless run we were on.
  11. It was definitely Sunderland away - in the 5th round too. If you're not going to bother with the FA Cup, bow out in round 3. I was bloody fuming coming home from that.
  12. At 2-1 I thought we'd throw the kitchen sink at them, but by Christ we possess ZERO attacking aerial threat. So we persist with lumping balls into the box. We might as well refuse to take corners and just let our opponents have a goal kick, we are so fucking useless at them.
  13. Watched the Birmingham game last night, and there's no way we're keeping a clean sheet with Demarai Gray and Jay Stansfield up top. And although Lyndon Dykes is generally shite, he's exactly the type of player we can't defend against. 2-2
  14. There's no real standout team in this division this year - Boro's start has been impressive but you wouldn't say they're head and shoulders above everybody else - so we might as well try and get promoted. Leicester, Ipswich and ourselves are possibly the weakest ever trio of relegated teams, and whichever 3 teams come down from the PL this season will be stronger, making next year's Championship tougher than ever. That doesn't mean playing in the PL next season wouldn't be an utter shitshow, of course. It's kind of our* thing. * by 'our' I mean SR's, obviously
  15. We certainly give plenty of chances up - Wrexham could have been 4 up by half time with more clinical finishing - but I'm not sure Stoke are the team to expose our defensive frailty/naivety, and Bazunu is in fine form right now. We'll huff and puff as usual up top, its got 0-0 all over it for me, Clive.
  16. Athletic Club show everyone how to do proper stripes (although I've got a feeling it has a plain red back)
  17. Le TIss named Ekelund as the best player he'd ever seen, didn't he?
  18. Just seen him referred to by a Rangers fan angry at his appointment as 'Dick Avocado'
  19. I was very satisfied not to have a season ticket this year.
  20. I would rather sit in roadworks than attend a game at St Marys at the moment
  21. what does Mitoma have to do to get a booking?
  22. Of course the other option is to leave when we go 4-0 down, at about 52 minutes I reckon
  23. Don't forget that getting away from the Amex by train after the match is an absolute nightmare as that poxy little station can't cope with that many people - as others have said, Mill Road Park and Ride is your best bet.
  24. I bought a Hummel away kit for £13 from DHGate in the relegation season, and got the sponsor off using the nail polish remover method. You definitely need to turn the shirt inside out and apply it to the back of the transfer - if you put the liquid on the front of the sponsor it will just cause the ink to run onto the fabric and could possibly stain it. The plasticky front print peels off quite easily (do it bit-by-bit, don't be tempted to do it all in one go), but I was initially left with some of the glue residue still on the shirt (so essentially a transparent but still slightly visible outline of the sponsor logo shape) but after a couple of standard wash cycles that's gone too.
  25. Denmark had to have a third version which was green, although I'm not sure if they ever wore it...
