  1. Why does everyone rate Pellegrini so much he had the most money to spend and only won the league because Steven Gerrard slipped up, his side were poor when it counted this season in the champions league against Madrid/seasons before, plus he's old and not really an up and coming coach that improves players. Big no from me for him and don't think the club will make that sort of short term appointment.
  2. I like him, stumbling block would be his English
  3. Never said it eliminates all risk did I? Just said it's not luck that we've replaced the last 2 managers and 7 first team players very very well. By all accounts we're the best in the league at it, so far.
  4. Sampaoli left Chile in January or February I believe
  5. Absolute codswallop, it's not getting "lucky" it's the result of meticulous planning and if you can't see that I'm afraid to say you aren't very bright or just completely naive
  6. In regards to the players Koeman signed not being happy with him, I'd assume that would be Mane and Tadic Maybe more chance of them staying if we get a good replacement in? Every cloud I suppose.
  7. Yes, Everton! If we get Howe in or someone else who does really good in Europe, the cups, the league, in player retention and recruitment though they will be praised for paying us for the privilege of doing so!
  8. We should not let him sign for them until a new manager appointment for us is imminent!
  9. I would but I'm a saints supporter and wouldn't leave for Everton, At the end of the day.....It's night
  10. https://twitter.com/FeedTheFans this guy seems to think the big push is for De Boer not Koeman and everyone else is wrong....Will Koeman be rich??? Que Sera Sera https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azxoVRTwlNg
  11. Those are the ones I'd take, Gary Rowett has potential IMO but too early for him No chance with Diego Simeone though and little chance with Emery/Loew
  12. Think I need to too.
  13. The new less fashionable and late to the party Man City... Even they struggled to get top 4 for a few years and the league is stronger now than it was then.
  14. Leicester have shown than hard work, dedication in every area, good physios/recovery staff, good recruitment and scouting network can outdo money and so have Southampton and Spurs to an extent. Hope in all ends in tears for them which it very well could. Must not sell to them if he goes there too, sell to spurs by all means now. They're a direct rival, we were close to spurs last season but realistically they have always been in the top 5/6 whereas Everton are a bit of a yoyo club when it comes to League positions
  15. I remember when we got Koeman I bet on him early on as saw some random info on twitter from a guy in Scotland saying his mate caddied for him and told him he's going to Southampton. Eventually he signed but remember checking the odds frequently and them fluctuating so much that I swear someone like Steve Bruce was odds on at one point..Can't remember for sure can anyone else?
  16. I suspect whoever said that is bullsh*ting, why on earth would he mention to a random person he's signing two Dutch players
  17. Its all about the money if he goes to Everton nothing else, even though he promised he would see out his contract to us the fans and also promised this http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/koeman-not-use-southampton-stepping-4061820
  18. None of those would be problem solved... Could just about accept De Boer the other two no thanks.
  19. They've made that quite obvious through the media since day 1 after sacking Martinez
  20. If Everton don't get Koeman, what's that going to say about their 2nd/3rd targets...Not sure Emery would be happy being second choice, De Boer probably wouldn't mind..You'd have to say going all out to get one man so blatantly in public has got to hinder your chances of other top targets or make them feel they're less wanted when they get there. Or they will say you offered him 6m a year, I want 6m a year as well. Whereas Saints do things quietly behind closed doors, the right way. We might be a 'smaller club' with a slightly smaller (yet newer) stadium and smaller fan base but we're growing and we go about things the right way with class and dignity not through the media unsettling players and managers. Think we have a classier and more dignified fan base than most of the 'Larger club' supporters also, I really think supporting a larger club makes you less grounded especially if you're from Liverpool
  21. What's the chances of them (Everton) splashing loads of money getting nowhere then relegated, the owner doing one and them ending up like Pompey? Seeing the attitude of most of their fans over the internet I hope it happens to them whether Koeman goes to them or not.
  22. you said that last year.
  23. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/ronald-koeman-blasts-manchester-united-8073117 If he's off to Everton the hypocrisy is crazy. Sunday Mirror Sport understands that the Dutchman (Les Reed) was given at least three separate assurances by United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward (Koeman) that he would complete his three-year contract when he (Les Reed) challenged the club (Koeman) over constant speculation that Mourinho (The Everton job) was being lined up
  24. Is it me or is it whenever a nice article about us comes out like the telegraph one yesterday within 24/48 hours it's all blown to s**t by another development like Toby last summer Pochettino the summer before, it's always around this date as well......
  25. You could be on to something....Lets hope so anyway
