Well IMO Cocu has been superb these last few months coinciding with our brilliant run. Does the job well nothing silly,covers his centre back. That pass for Tadic to set up Long v Man City was sublime. Really can't fault him and he improved so much this season he overtook our expensive first choice Portuguese international signing to make the spot his own.

TBH I was surprised he took Lallana off, Coutinho was shocking even in the first half and Firmino wasn't much better. It's funny that now the players that looked to have made an awful move last season are playing really well (Lovren and Lallana) maybe Morgan just needs a season to settle. His mega move has come at a cost, missing the Euros that you only get to go to 3-4 times in your career if you're lucky. Think Tadic deserves one, if Ron, Tadic, Wanyama and Mane all signed we'd be in dream land. I don't see why we couldn't just persuade the latter 2 to sign with release clauses in their contracts. Say 20m for Wanyama and 40m for Mane, then there's no argument when a club comes in for them, it's simple pay this and you can have him, simple for them as well and would be the right thing to do for our contribution to their development. Reality is that Wanyama will probably go for a cut price like Clyne did last year.

Personally I think he's better in a deeper role with a "destroyer" alongside him as he has effected games with his quicker more incisive passing than the other DM when we need a goal or two. Safe standing but it seems in the corner of Northam Stand/ Kingsland people manage to stand anyway so I'd say add 8,000 seats to make 40k stadium just to increase the atmosphere and create cheaper seating for people who can't afford to go every week if anything else but the club probably won't see it as cost effective and there's always the risk of having plenty of empty seats on view.

On JWP if he was starting every game for a top 8 club in this league at his age he would be on the level of Scholes, Beckham Lampard and Gerrard....Englands best midfielder's for that generation. Sadly he's not on that level but if he was he would be off to one of the big clubs so good. You could also argue that back in the late 90s early 2000s that it would of been easier for those 4 to start every week with less money, less foreign imports and smaller squads in the league than we have currently. One would be a fool to write him off so early in his career.
