  1. Martinez Sacked.
  2. Even if Palace won the cup?
  3. I suggest you look up the word impossible. United aren't a good team, I'm not saying they will but B-mouth are perfectly capable of beating them at Old Trafford. Possible
  4. That's exactly what he is a wind up merchant, then he does a serious article like this and he seems just a normal fair minded person. Edit- didn't even read the whole article, that bit at the end with a replay behind closed doors still a wind up merchant
  5. European banning orders hopefully
  6. Yeah Buddy!
  7. Not if Poch goes there!
  8. How is it pretty much impossible? Bournemouth win, West Ham lose OR draw, we win, Liverpool fail to win 2 games and we are there. Makes things interesting for Sunday at least. Hopefully Liverpool drop points tomorrow so one less result to worry about. Bournemouth is a long shot but United aren't great and it's not exactly 5000-1 that they'll win. Stranger things have happened.........Very recently
  9. Bournemouth will go there to win, they could potentially jump up from 16th-12th on Sunday and it's United away, they won't make it easy for them.
  10. I find people who don't want us to finish as high as we can odd? West Ham were always going to win that game tonight.
  11. Don't worry If West Ham win tonight though it'll be fine as they'll lose to Stoke and B-mouth will turn over Utd at Old Trafford 2-1, Manchester United will crack under the pressure of trying to get into the top 4 as they see Swansea are 1-0 up v City at HT with the scores at Old Trafford locked at 0-0... Meanwhile Liverpool will stumble to two draws in their last two games having rested many players for the big European final. In the end both Manchester clubs lose on the last day so City stay in 4th, United in 6th and the not so happy Hammers in 7th. Leaving saints finishing a superb 5th after thrashing a weakened Palace 4-0 therefore not having to worry about the FA Cup final or Europa League final result and living happily ever after. The End
  12. TBH if we did sign him it would boost our world-wide reputation so even if it was costly for a season and he didn't live up to the hype, the job would of been done already showing we can attract the big name players and boosting club status but yeah it ain't going to happen and goes completely against the way we scout and recruit players.
  13. No as if United lose their last 2 and West ham lose to stoke and we beat Palace we finish 5th if Liverpool don't win their last 2, 6th if they do. FA cup result won't even matter That's what I'm hoping for, 5th. (Where we should of finished last season with the goal difference far exceeding the two above us)
  14. Got there in the end
  15. Me and brother worked out before this game that we could finish 5th IF we win our 2, West Ham beat United but lose to Stoke, United lose to B-mouth (and hope Liverpool drop points) he put a quid on the 5 fold Saints, Saints, West Ham, Stoke, Bournemouth-pays 425/1. Bournemouth the obvious long shot at around 7/8-1
  16. Yes. We've been lucky to have a fully fit squad recently. He's still very young.
  17. But then I think we would have 3 places as we are designated 1 league place, and 2 x cup places! Say if we won capital one cup and Palace won the FA cup, both finished outside 5th. You couldn't just take away one of those 3 designated places from one of the clubs because the bladdy scousers won Europa
  18. So what happens if they finish 8th or lower?
  19. FFS Come on Seville then!!
  20. Also going down from 4 Europa league representatives to 2 would be a bit strange wouldn't it? Considering they got rid of the fair play thing surely even if your country has 5 CL teams it shouldn't hinder them from having 3 Europa teams? What happen for Spain last year when Seville got in and they had 5 teams? Finding that out might get us an answer!
  21. http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/news/2015-16/apr/150416-european-qualifying-places-explained.html this is from the Premier League itself but is 3 weeks old and doesn't say what will happen if just Liverpool win Europa not Man City and them winning. It does say that if they both win and finish in Europa league positions, England will have 5 CL + 2 EL. I'm assuming that if only one of them win in Europe and are in a Europa spot that it will go down a place so ATM 5th+6th (city will finish in top 5), 7th if United win the FA cup, 8th if Liverpool win and finish in top 7...but I'm really not sure. I'm glad someone has emailed UEFA to clear up the confusion! Needs to be done.
  22. 17th for ineptitude, so 4th best.
  23. Could your Italian friend at least of made up a slightly more plausible rumour?
  24. Can't imagine Ronald spends time with any of our under 18s but who knows! Ronald has done a superb job here with all the players that left though and though Poch might be better at bringing through young players Big Ron has a decent track record of that at previous clubs. When comparing the two you could say they both have different styles but both work, think Ronald has the edge when it comes to a plan B. Both great managers and Les Reed should be praised highly for all managerial appointments since his arrival.
