  1. What a bit like Spurs did with Harry Kane ! Give the lad time, he scored for England under 20's earlier in the week, so must be doing something right to be picked for them
  2. But game is Dec 28th and trains are running normally !! Just no train for Arsenal which was obvious when fixture list was announced in June, as never any trains Christmas day and Dec 26th
  3. will be fun on trains and in and around Waterloo on Dec 28th as Bournemouth are at Arsenal and that game is also 5.30Pm kick off for same reason as ours
  4. I was there yesterday, lost my voice by the end, although came back Ok after a few post match beers Yesterday was better for me because we battered them second half and all the Chelsea fans I spoke to after game full of praise for our performance, whereas as others have said Man U was smash and grab
  5. No we do not jump priority system our allocation from Saints is based on previous games attended too, and supporters who get tickets are allocated them on basis of games attended. This is generally fair but for Mitdjylland we were allocated only 8 tickets yet had far more members who would have qualified for tickets based on the clubs priority system. For most London games our allocation is not sufficient to meet demand, but for this particular game there is not the demand, I assume due to a combination of the prices and it being on TV
  6. It would have if he had been a member he would definitely got a ticket as demand for London saints tickets was low due to prices and being on TV, although with most London games demand exceeds the allocation we are given
  7. Was excellent against Norwich, didn't let Redmond have a sniff all game
  8. we tried 3 centre backs there last season but gave up on that after half an hour as it wasn't working, not that we improved that much after that
  9. If it was that popular the 1500 tickets we got would have been sold out by now already got my tickets, but email came today saying tickets on sale to those with only 2 previous away games so suggests the club got numbers right, with a combination of high prices and game being Live On TV putting many off Do however feel there would have been more demand if they had subsidised the cost of tickets by £10 as they did last season
  10. the ticket pick up is in the centre of town very close to railway station but a long way from your hotel, would suggest you pick it up either on way to your hotel or later if you are planning to go into town which is approx. 40mins walk from our hotel or 2min rail journey on train from Station near stadium which is close to your hotel. however only one train an hour from there to Herning main station
  11. Copenhagen main airport is 20 mins from centre of Copenhagen near bridge to Malmo, our journey is then same as yours but cheaper and quicker because our route is more direct hence why cheaper and quicker
  12. Steve, some trains are affected by engineering works 7 of us on 12.30 from Copenhagen Airport, we change at Vejle and get then Bus to Brande then another train to Herning, but gets to Herning 45 minds quicker than train via Skanderborg and is slightly cheaper
  13. no good if you wanted to travel down and collect tickets though, as only one train an hour down and back 49 mins to hour down and 16 mins past back, as ground 10 - 15 mins walk from Arena station would take an hour an a half to collect tickets
  14. as ground if 40 mins walk from centre makes sense to have them collected in Centre of town, however as kick off is 8.45 why 5Pm cut off surely would be ok until at lease 6Pm which is still 2hrs 45mins before kick off, and any later arrivals then pick up at ground
  15. 7 of us due to arrive at Herning Station at 4Pm so ok as there are no delays Still not received an email confirming arrangements though
  16. tickets for away leg have now Finally sold out https://twitter.com/southamptonfc
  17. Appears ground is 40 min walk from main station so will be tight for you, however if you miss train, there are bars open in Herning until 3am, from info I've seen
  18. i know someone still interested in ticket in home end, I'm ok myself have one in away section Please email me t.trevis.t21@btinternet.com
  19. know several lads after tickets please contact me t.trevis.t21@btinternet and i'll put you on touch
  20. Friday ? That's a day too late!! train is 12 30 by the way gets to Herning 16.01
  21. 6 of us in the same hotel as you, took same view about being convenient for station and town centre will cab to stadium, some bars in town open until 3am on Thursday night
  22. Wouldn't fancy that costing me £240 for flight to Copenhagen Thursday morning train to Herning and one night in hotel there, flying back from Copenhagen Friday evening
  23. £76 return for train from Copenhagen Airport
  24. last round was 14+ first, would have thought would be the same this time
  25. true, but it still means we potentially have travelling to do after a 5 Thursday night games which leaves little time for players to recover of which 2 or 3 could be after returning from the continent
