  1. It isn’t just there. It is literally all over social media! Any threads on the game the other night, the final or about us are full of hate.
  2. Dogging? I am amazed at the amount of hate coming our way on social media. Gibson’s hate campaign has travelled like wildfire. We are currently hated more than Jeffrey Epstein!
  3. Version of events #3,768
  4. But if the alleged “spying” took place within the allowed timeframe elsewhere?
  5. Absolutely. Playing an unregistered player is a far more serious offence than what appears to have been committed by us. Many years ago a Sunday team we used to play against did that and got a right hammering by the league administrators.
  6. True, we don’t know. But from what has been released so far it really doesn’t look like a big deal does it?
  7. Hull have already knocked Millwall out of the competition. How do they get to play again in the final? That is insane.
  8. Why not just wait and see what happens before suggesting who gets thrown under the bus?
  9. Millwall lost. They don’t get a second bite of the cherry or it makes a joke of the competition. It would also be a joke to throw us out for what is not a major crime.
  10. Man up mate! There is no way that there will not be a final and there is no way the winner will not be promoted. It is a circus and a lot of money is involved. It will also be a gross overreaction to exclude us should we be found guilty.
  11. I feel so sorry for the poor bastards having to manage the expectations of some of their fans. Personally I won’t give them any credit unless we win the EPL within two years and the Champion’s League within five years.
  12. We have until next Thursday to reply so unless something has happened it will not be before then at least and I can’t see it happening until after the final.
  13. Surely the EFL will not want any further distractions before the final? I can’t see any decision being made public until after the final. I don’t think for one minute that the club will be disqualified from the competition.
  14. I think he has blown his chances of a job with MI5 though.
  15. It is a sideshow. If you let it spoil your enjoyment of the occasion you have fallen into the trap. They want everyone to believe that it is a big deal. It really isn’t.
  16. Apologies if this has been mentioned already, but the arrival of Ben Garner in January looks to have been another excellent appointment (along with Larin, Peretz and bringing back Bree).
  17. I agree that expulsion will not happen. At the risk of upsetting a certain poster, it is not the crime of the century and has been blown up out of all proportion (which is not to mitigate it if it turns out to be true). As for deducting points next season, if we don’t go up, maybe. Would it apply to the EPL though? Aren’t the EPL and the EFL two distinct administrations?
  18. Well, that was stressful. Like Saturday, Boro tired as the game went on. Think we deserved it overall although we rode our luck big time first half Saturday. Nice to make Wembley our second home! Phew!
  19. That was a bit spicy!
  20. 1. The club are innocent until proven guilty. 2. The EFL rules state that the club have 14 days to respond to the charges. 3. The club have agreed to comply with the process. There is a match tonight. Win it and Boro are through to the final. Why don’t you just focus on that instead of whipping up a frenzy, which might be over nothing, or are you so worried that you won’t win (after blowing second place) that you are putting your energy in trying to get a bye? Not very sportsman like is it? By the way, all of our games this year are available to “spy” on, as are yours. I’d be very surprised if either side came up with anything new in match day. Actually, that is not quite true. I was very surprised how bad we were in the first half on Saturday and how you didn’t manage to score any goals when you were so dominant.
  21. Absolutely this. I am more agitated by players constantly grappling each other at corners, diving, trying to get others sent off etc. than “spygate.” No, it shouldn’t happen, but there are far worse examples of cheating going on during actual games by players. I’m sure most of us can remember “Fergie time” which was basically intimidation of refs to keep playing until United scored. Where was the outrage about that? It just became a bit of a joke but it probably had more of an affect on their results than sending a kid off to look at a training session.
  22. Exactly this. It is all pointless hot air until the club makes an official statement on their position and the facts are properly determined. The time to wet the bed is if and when we are found guilty of any wrong doing. In the meantime we have a match to win.
  23. He looks like Robbie Savage.
  24. Clearly the plan is to let them pummel us so the league go easy on us for Spygate, then go for it at home. We just haven’t turned up today so something is amiss.

I got a lot of flak ant the time about suggesting that Netanyahu’s regime deliberately allowed the 7th October attack to go ahead to use it as an excuse to unleash hell on Gaza. Given what has happened since it seems even more likely.
