  1. The “gift” here is the Labour MPs doing what they normally do and spend their time and energy on infighting and power struggles. Their job is to fix the mess we are in and get behind the PM. The squabbling plays into Reform’s hands. They can let their displeasure known through the Whips, going public just makes things worse. FFS sort yourself out and show the country you are unified in trying to sort this mess out. If not you will just as complicit as Badenoch in handing the country over to Reform. https://www.itv.com/news/2026-01-27/fifty-labour-mps-write-letter-to-starmer-objecting-to-decision-to-block-burnham
  2. I don’t. I am just making an observation in response to another poster’s post. I could ask you why you are concerned with what I think of another poster that neither of us actually know. If someone goes out of their way to follow you around a football forum and spend their time and energy making digs at you, you would probably have an opinion about them too. He doesn’t only do it to me. I don’t recall you ever calling him out. Friend of yours maybe?
  3. We shall have to agree to disagree. If you had been on the Ugly Inside around the time he was banned you might see things differently. Yes he is a WUM. But it is all about him.
  4. I think that there is one thing we can all agree on. Whatever system the club are using, it hasn’t worked very well so far.
  5. Of course there should be a by-election. You can bet your last Euro that Farage would be kicking up a stink if his MPs were defecting to the Tories. She stood for election on the Tory manifesto not Reform’s. It is down to the constituents to decide which party represents them, not Braverman.
  6. Yes I have. They are not regular police though. They are a special squad. ICE are nothing to do with the police. They are a federal law enforcement agency. They are not the police so why have that on their vests?
  7. Fraser Forster - Herman Munster’s body double Gareth Bale - Cornelius in The Planet of the Apes
  8. For those not acquainted with his work, this is by a guy named Cold War Steve who produces political satire in the form of collages. I think you can find his work on X.
  9. Ok, but maybe make to that point to the others as well?
  10. Fair point. It’s not so much him though as I know how much he craves the attention. It is more those who move in his orbit.
  11. Apparently David Frost could be the next one. What happened to the prominent Labour member who was supposed to defect? Great comment from Jonathan Pie today. Reform aren’t even the Tory-lite party anymore. They are the full blown Tories with guest star Nigel Farage.
  12. There is an old saying, “It doesn’t matter who you vote for, the Government always gets in.” Having said that, some are a lot worse than others.
  13. Yes, I am at it as well sometimes, but not as frequently. There are plenty of snarky posts that I don’t bother to respond to. You have a go back at people who have a pop at you too. It’s only natural. I agree that is is boring but it has been going on this forum since it started so it will never change, no matter who posts on here. As for the ridiculous assertion that the number of posts equates to a level of attention seeking. Apparently the biggest poster on here by far is Turkish with 53k plus followed in second place by hypochondriac with 43k plus. Perhaps it is true after all 🤔
  14. It’s funny how all of the Tories defecting to Reform slag off the Tories when they were part of the reason the Tories were so crap. Never trust a Tory said Farage, who now leads Tory 2.0.
  15. Jack Stephens - Bouncer Adam Armstrong - Alter boy in a monastery. Tom Fellows - work experience boy Iain Dowie - failed boxer Matt Le Tissier - banjo player in the film Deliverance Terry Hurlock - extra in any Guy Ritchie movie Terry Paine - collecting money on the Dodgem fairground rides Nick Holmes - Shaggy in the Scooby Doo live action movie. Phil Foden - the kid who offers to look after your car if you park in the street in Liverpool. David Beckham - member of East 17 Sammy Lee - rear end of a pantomime horse
  16. In the least surprising news of the day, Suella Braverman has defected to Reform.
  17. Turn up to observe ICE agents in action carrying a gun and you are likely to be shot. Turn up at an airport with a loaded weapon, not so much. https://www.tsa.gov/news/press/releases/2025/01/15/tsa-intercepts-6678-firearms-airport-security-checkpoints-2024
  18. Apparently this is the profile of a “domestic terrorist.” https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c62r4g590wqo.amp
  19. 30’s Germany being reenacted on the streets of America in 2026 and all the Trump apologist can do is to make excuses again. Time to invoke Godwin’s Law again. If you were around in those days you would be excusing the actions of the Brown Shirts and then the Black Shirts. You are clearly sympathetic to Fascistic regimes. I think we have finally rumbled who you are - take a bow, Kristi Noem!
  20. More accurately, if you approach Federal Agents with a phone in your hand you risk being shot. It’s incredible isn’t it. We can all watch the same news report and see a man helping a woman who is being pushed around, knocked to the ground himself, pistol whipped and then shot several times, but will find something else to be offended about. P.S. I have been on this site for nearly 20 years and for most of that time have had multiple posts, not just 3 posts a day. Also if I posted for attention why would I have not renewed my membership at times. But why let the facts get in the way of a good pile on?
  21. I was referring to the US police. More info https://www.aclusocal.org/ice-impersonation-police-faq/
  22. ICE agents are not police so why do they have that on their chests? Police do not wear masks. They also do not wear paramilitary garb. These people are acting as Trump’s private army, terrorising and intimidating communities and committing cold blooded murder in plain sight, with impunity. If these scenes were in some Hollywood dystopian movie they would be shocking enough. This horror show is reality and is now the USA under a mad, power crazed President. Another poster is upset because he thinks this is an echo chamber. In response I would say why on earth would anybody post in favour of this madness under Trump’s rule?
  23. Burnham is a big hitter and would add some presence and experience to Labour’s front bench. His presence in Parliament though would cause constant noise about usurping Starmer and neither Labour nor the country need more party psychodramas. As I have said before, I want to see more from the LibDems. They really should be positioning themselves as the party for disaffected Tory’s and Labour voters. It shouldn’t be hard for them to attract the votes that have been going to Reform from people who just want change and not necessarily the unpleasant baggage that comes with that party.
  24. Even when Stewart came on it didn’t work and the ball kept coming back. There must be more ways to play football than just one or the other.
  25. We have gone from aimlessly passing the ball about at the back to aimlessly launching it up front. Still, at least we didn’t lose.
