  1. Anyone thinking that Reform could run a piss up in a brewery are delusional.
  2. I bet he knows that you start a sentence with a capital letter when writing English. got to love the standard of education amongst some in the UK sometimes.
  3. I did thank you. What is your point? You think that her case is being dealt with well? Perhaps respond to what I actually said, not what you thought I said.
  4. The Land of the Free, built on mass immigration, picks on a law abiding granny who has raised a family in the US for the last 30 years. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ckgq63lgn7zo.amp
  5. It’s almost as if Trump was going through Dictatorship For Dummies chapter by chapter. No doubt his supporters and apologists will be telling us it is for the good of the US and that it is all above board. Trump is protecting Free Speech and America’s right to say absolutely anything they like as long as it meets Trump’s approval and is complimentary towards him. I expect Starmer is breathing a sigh of relief that the Orange dummy managed to get through the visit without doing too much damage, but again, he used the state visit to feed his own vanity. Despite the massive amount of attention and sucking up, he still couldn’t resist using the presser to blow smoke up his own arse and slag off Biden. How he gets away with telling blatant lies God only knows. Zero illegal immigration in his watch? Where did that come from? The best I can find is a reduction of 10% which still means that it is 90% above zero (not that Trump understands percentages). Apparantly on the flight back he mentioned that he asked for Sadiq Khan not to attend the banquet and that Khan had wanted to be there. No he didn’t. We have become so used to his perpetual lying that it has become the norm now. We are all living in Trump’s reality. The scary thing is the number of people who buy into it and support the loony. Still, as many people say to me, we learn nothing from history. He is building a big beautiful society like no one has seen before. He is the best President ever, so people say. I’ve been told that he can walk on water and turn water into wine. Many people say that. The bloke is beyond parody and if the consequences weren’t so tragic for all of us, Trump would be the biggest joke of the century. It’s frightening that one man can cause so much damage to a country’s standing in the so called free world. If we are not careful we could go the same way as the US in the next few years.
  6. As already said, the FCC are threatening these broadcasting companies with revocation of their licences if they don’t comply with their wishes. Trump had already said publicly that he wanted Kimmel gone. The two late night hosts on NBC will be next if they don’t bend the knee. Kimmel talking rubbish? It was very clear that Trump and Trumpists were using Kirk’s death to score political points almost immediately. As for Trump’s comments about how he was holding up after the death of his friend and he started to talk about the building of a ballroom at the Whitehouse, Kimmel was spot on when he said that was like a child mourning a goldfish, not an adult mourning a friend. The very thin skinned narcissist cannot handle the slightest bit of criticism. Apparently companies are now being encouraged to fire people for saying “horrible things!” Free speech? I don’t think so. It is only so if you say something complimentary or in support of Trump and his regime. We have also had a Fox host, Brian Kilmeade, say, live on air, that mentally ill homeless people should be given a lethal injection. The suppression of dissent, blatant censorship when it comes to questioning those in power (the main Australian broadcasting corporation was not given accreditation to today’s presser with Trump because one of their journalists asked him an awkward question), the use of “alternative facts” as opposed to real facts and the use of euthanasia against the mentally ill are all straight from the fascist playbook from the 1930s. You have to be a special kind of Trump apologist to deny what is currently happening in and to the USA by this President and his administration. Not all Fascists wear smart black uniforms with jodhpurs and shiny boots.
  7. Another big name cancelled for using his right to Free Speech in the land that preaches to the rest of the world about the sanctity of Free Speech. https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2025/sep/18/jimmy-kimmel-live-suspended-indefinitely-after-hosts-charlie-kirk-comments
  8. It’s amazing what people will do to get billions of pounds of investment for this country isn’t it? Meanwhile, how does this square with your belief in Free Speech and the First Amendment Donald? https://edition.cnn.com/2025/09/16/media/trump-lawsuit-new-york-times-hnk And I noticed that over 150,000 people were exercising their right to Free Speech in London on Saturday.
  9. Can we expect hoards of flag waving patriots turning up at Oldbury to demonstrate against this assault on a woman? https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/sikh-woman-rape-racist-oldbury-b2826234.html
  10. Good to see that “Free Speech” is still alive and well in The Land Of The Free. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2025/sep/17/ben-jerrys-co-founder-jerry-greenfield-quits-saying-unilever-silenced-social-mission But only if you are supportive of Trump and his actions it seems. Their hypocrisy is quite staggering given that they (by they I mean Trump and his acolytes) are constantly berating us for, supposing, not having Free Speech. To be fair to Trump, he did say that he would be a dictator. Another lie though because he said he would be a dictator ON day one. He actually meant FROM day one.

The “offense” as you put it is making it very clear that you would have a major problem if your wife were Muslim. Surely, if you loved her enough to marry her and build a life and a family with her, her religious beliefs should not be an issue. On another point, if Hamas had come out and said that their aim on 7th October two years ago was to kill Israeli soldiers on the basis that they have been suppressing the rights of Palestinians and that the civilians killed and taken hostage were just collateral damage, would you have been ok with that? You might also recall having a go at me when I said that not all Muslims were responsible for terrorist acts. Your view as posted at the time was that they were all responsible because they weren’t going to the police with information that would help prevent the acts. You didn’t seem remotely interested in the idea that most of them have no idea of terrorist plans being made by extremists and we’re just as horrified by their actions as anyone else. Just man up and admit it. You hate Muslims and have zero empathy for what the occupants of Gaza and the West Bank are being subjected to by the IDF and the so called Settlers.

No surprise at the ruling, which has come too late, or by the response which, as usual, claims anti-semitism. What those claiming anti-semitism seem to ignore is that the ruling used many comments made by Israeli leaders for its conclusions. Four out of five boxes ticked in the test for a genocide ruling. Some legacy Netanyahu and his cronies is leaving for the state of Israel.
  13. Of course there should be. Can you imagine the meltdown amongst the Gammons if one of their MPs or councillors left Reform for the Labour Party? If you stand as a representative for a certain party you owe it to the people who voted for you to have a choice to carry on supporting you or not. If you cast your vote for a Tory and they are elected, why should you end up with that person representing another party without another vote?
  14. The guy who currently cuts my hair is from Iraq, so not black. My dentist is black though if that helps? We wouldn’t have a polite conversation. All of my conversations are polite but I wouldn’t give you the time of day. I avoid people who go out of their way to support the views of certain extemists with certain political views or who clearly hate certain people because of their religious views. Your use of the alt right avatar is not forgotten and this pretence that you are some kind of even handed liberal is a total facade. Your famous quote that “Socialism is dangerous” sums you up perfectly. You go out of your way to “be fair” to people with extreme right wing views whereas you immediately jump on anyone with liberal views. You hate left wing liberal views and you hate Muslims. You would have us believe that you are actually an even handed decent bloke yet at the same time you kick off about the ULEZ charge (brought in my a Muslim no less) because you have to pay because you brung in a car that pollutes the air that your gramps breathes every day. Here’s a thought, put his health before your own selfishness. “Thank God my wife isn’t Muslim”, another of your infamous quotes. If anyone is a bellend it is you. We have absolutely nothing in common other than we support the same football club. I would no more have a polite conversation with you as I would the morons throwing firebombs at hotels housing asylum seekers or lobbing bricks at the police. As for listening to people with different viewpoints, how does that work when you yourself shout down posters that you don’t agree with as you do almost daily? You have a very long history on here of supporting far right views and posting against those who speak out against them. I’d have far more respect for you if you had the balls to admit where you are coming from. I am way more likely to have a “polite” conversation with Duckhunter. At least he doesn’t pretend to be anything other than he is.
  15. Wow. If it isn’t bad enough being stalked by nutty nic on here he is following me around the internet too. 🥴 Make your mind up nic. Am I a racist or not? You seem to be confused. Mind you, you seem to be confused about a lot of things. No surprise given that people with a low IQ tend to follow Trump and Farage. I am guessing you are the bloke on TUI who is further right than Rupert Lowe? Tell me, do you get agitated every time that Trump, Farage and Jenrick bring race into conversations too?
  16. Nothing about Trump adds up or makes sense so why would that stop a lot of people voting for Farage? We have already voted to cripple ourselves financially by Brexit. What’s to say there aren’t enough idiots who will vote in Farage as the next PM? I hear plenty of people saying that they cannot do any worse. Oh yes they can.

It will just be dismissed as anti semitism, blood libel or some other nonsense by Netanyahu and his cohorts but it doesn’t bode well for them with an international court ruling coming early next year too. What is the current saying? It is “not a good look” to be found guilty of committing genocide.
  18. A bunch of “9 pinters” who have just fallen out of the Farage Arms ale house and are on their way to tie some flags to lamp posts. If they want to deter asylum seekers from coming here perhaps they should show them these type of clips before they climb aboard the dingies. Meanwhile it takes an American to put Farage in his place. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/nigel-farage-washington-jamie-raskin-free-speech-b2819428.html
  19. The question we need to ask is why are two different parties expected to be held to different levels of accountability? Surely it should be the same for all but the bar for Labour seems to be a lot higher than that for the Tories in recent years. Integrity went out of the window when Johnson got rid of any hint of propriety from his party. Remember the “form a square around the Pritster” comment? There are still people in opposition who have gotten away with worse, many know having been elevated to the Lords, but guilty of deliberately not paying the proper amount or not, as housing minister her position is now untenable. If she does resign it will not change anything though. Labour will still be expected to be held to a higher level of behaviour and accountability than the Tories (or Reform).
  20. Did the same people who are calling for her resignation make the same amount of noise during the years of Tory corruption, especially during the PPE free for all? I suspect not. If the investigation concludes that it was a genuine mistake then I don’t see why she would have to resign. Nevertheless, honourable people who have gone through a similar process have resigned even though they were innocent. I wouldn’t be surprised if she did go before the conclusion of the investigation as the media will whip up a storm whilst it is going on. It’s a shame, she has the Tories for breakfast and would be handy against Farage as the next election approaches. Zahawi’s situation was different. https://taxpolicy.org.uk/2023/01/19/zahawi_story/
  21. And you are supposed to have a massive intellect? The government have a legal requirement to accommodate asylum seekers. The previous government put more and more of them into places that used to be hotels. This government had already said that it plans to move asylum seekers out of these buildings by the end of this term (within the next 4 years). It clearly cannot move out everybody until firm plans are in place as to what to do with them. That will take time. The appeal judge clearly took this into account when making his judgement. It was the local council, who used money that could have been spent on fixing potholes and other very essential local services, who started these legal proceedings leaving the government with no choice. You don’t like asylum seekers so you have chosen to attack the government for spending money on legal action when it was initiated by the very people who have more of a problem with asylum seekers than they do with people who think that it is perfectly ok to intimidate in large crowds. I don’t suppose that you bothered to listen to the people who live locally and said that there wasn’t a problem with the inhabitants of the building. They were more concerned with the number of outsiders turning up outside the building. We have a system in this country whereby anyone suspected of breaking the law is dealt with by the police within the Criminal Justice System. A baying mob is not a part of that system. They clearly have your sympathies but without them, the money spent on legalities could be better spent elsewhere, could it not? Go on, have a chuckle.
  22. But it wouldn’t be a proper transfer window without hypochondriac whinging about our lack of signing a striker every other post and breaking out the antidepressants!
  23. It’s not just Farage. Tice, 30p Lee, previously Lowe…the party attracts plenty of deeply unpleasant and untrustworthy people. You just have to look at what is happening in the US to see what would happen here if Reform win the next election. Hopefully the mess they are currently making of running many local councils will put off protest voters. You would like to think that those who have had enough of the two main parties would give their vote to the LibDems rather than Farage, yet despite already making a mess of this country by championing Brexit, some people still think he worthy of trusting with their vote. Didn’t he say that he would leave the country if Brexit wasn’t a success? Why is he still here? He has a proven track record as a disrupter and destroyer but a zero past reputation as someone who can fix things. His plan to deport all those arriving on dinghies is a case in point. Where to Nigel? The plan was picked apart in minutes as being unworkable and he had to backtrack on women and children immediately. Any idiot can spout populist nonsense and get the hard of thinking to support them (you only have to read some of these posts). Fixing a broken country takes time, money and unpopular decisions. We all want better services and a better infrastructure but no one wants to pay for it. Taxes will have to rise. The idea that things will improve without tax rises is a nonsense. Starmer would do well to stop worrying about Badenoch and Farage with a u turn on tax increases and start preparing us for them now. Bring in fair and proportionate tax rises across the board. Spell out exactly where the money is going, hit your targets over the next 4 years and win over the trust of the floating voters. If Farage wins power outright or forms a coalition with Badenoch, God help us all. If you think we are currently a divided nation, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Laughing emojis, people shinning up lamp posts with flags and spotty kids running local councils will be the least of our worries.
  24. If Archer had scored that at the other end, a fine angled drive that went in just inside the far post, we would be talking about the quality of the finish, not a goalkeeping error.
