1. I was born in S London if if anything a ****ney not a Chav. 2. Nicely avoided answering the question. 3. What did you intend to door to poor old Jan if your got your hands on him exactly?
-
Absolutely Ottery, but I use the term ironically here.
-
We are talking about you Stanley. We have already established that I am a cyber fan and a fool. I have been a cyber fan for decades. You have recently made a decision to deprive your strapped for cash club money whilst giving it to the competition. Well?
-
Maybe it is because the lunatics are taking over the asylum??? Seriously though Stanley, where did I say that they were not? I am just stating that the middle of the road posters seem to be disappearing as the reactionary voices get louder (and obvioulsy more frequent).
-
Ah Steve (or Seeve's nephew?). Which one of you wanted to get hold of Jan? Tell me, I can't be bothered to trawl back through old posts by didn't you used to be a "Lowe Luvvie"?
-
The club needs cash badly and you give it to the competition, yet I am the fool?
-
Fair point and I do accept that there are reasonable posers here still. I also think many have given up because the reactionary threads and posters.
-
And the "minority" voted against George Bush apparently Stanley.
-
Tut tut Stanley, you know full well that I don't see myself as a model fan. Just one that doesn't think that cr*p results warrant violence against other people or witch hunts. So are you saying that the Forest game wasn't big? And you still haven't responded to the fact that you are happy to support others clubs financially but not your own.
-
My apologies. It wasn't really aimed at you, just the people who do that.
-
And your views do Stanley when you are happy to financially support every other club than your own? You only turned up at St Marys whn you thought that it was going to kick off. I know people who go to St Marys and do not beat up other fans, do not spend hours slagging off the board. They moan and ***** about the team and the result and that is as far as it goes. There are many cyber supporters around the world (and I am sure you know Yolly) whose views are as valid as anyone elses. If you chose to dismiss or belittle them, that is your choice mate.
-
Dismiss others? True colours? Yes I will dismiss others if I think they go too far and why not? They have their right of opinion as much as I have mine. It just seems that here you are only truly acceptd by the masses if you want to string a bloke up by the neck. As for true colours, I have always had a problem wth reactionaries and that will never change.
-
Not rattled Stanley, just frustrated by people who are so wrapped up in their own agendas that they fail to bother to actually read what is in front of them. You and your ilk just don't get it do you?
-
I don't have a vast intellect at all. I just don't "get" how people can have so much festering hatred inside them that they want to go and take it out by hitting someone else. Yes losing sucks, but why go and punch someone or come on here and say you would if you met them in the street? These people are doing a job just like we do. They are not doing it very well. If you were not performing well at work would you expect a colleague to come and thump you? I come on to read posts from people like Frank's Cousin, the two Nicks, Weston, Steve Grant etc but the more reasoned people here get drowned out by the reactionaries. Not one of these people have ever run a football club yet, from behind their PCs they know it all. Well I don't know it all and I am prepared to accept that the people behind the scenes make certain decisions based on certain criteria and think that they will produce the right results. If they don't then I expect these people to make changes. To come and and state (like one poster did) that a previous manager was going out of his way to ensure that we didn't get promoted is just plain ridiculous. To come and and say you are going t hiy someone if you meet them because your football club is not doing well is frankly psychotic. I am as frustrated as everyone else, but I do not threaten them or join witch hunts, so maybe that is my failing eh? I would love to take my young children to see saints play, but it is never going to happen. Why, because I don't think it is a decent environment for kids. One of the reasons I stopped going to live matches in the 70s was that you would never know what the idiot next to you was likely to do. Sometimes I think the violence and intolerant attitudes have moved away from the terraces and onto internet forums.
-
And why not. Do you condone some meatheads taking their frustrations out on fellow fans?
-
As I have told you before, I am not a Lowe supporter. I support SFC but feel free to ignore the facts so long as it suits your own agenda.
-
And you need to lighten up mate. Tell you what, lets go and punch a fellow fan because our team lost, that will make things better.
-
Any attempt at humour on here is wasted Michelle. Didn't you know, football is more than a game. Unless you sign up to the stormtrooper mentality you have pretty much had it as far as many of the posters here are concerned.
-
Stanley, you come across as one of those neanderthals who used to take pleasure in giving people a good kicking in the 70's. Also, you know who I am but have avoided revealing your identity to me, so I might be two faced and a muppet but I am not a coward. Feel free to expain how I am two faced please.
-
Thank's for the chuckle Mike!!!
-
I agree. I don't really care what Lowe says publically so long as he does something to sort this mess out this week.
-
Why would a new manager of any quality want to work with Rupert Lowe?
sadoldgit replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
Or maybe he will sack JP because he will see he is not up to the job and we need to bring in someone who is? -
I think it was Wotte and another guy he was after.
-
The main point is a decsiosn was made which has not panned out so far. We can belat all we like about the original decision but it makes no odds. The next decision is the most important one. Does JP stay and if not, who replaces him?
-
Maybe they thought they were playing it safe. Maybe they thought that, without any money, they had no option. Who knows? We all though that brining in Strachan was a huge gamble at the time didn't we?
