I expect we have finally given up with Hooper and gone with our 2nd choice Sharp. If you want to give credit to the guy who got Sharp down here then step forward James Beattie.

The situation you will find with Billy Sharp is he's asked us for a certain wage a month which we have not budge down from and Reading have offered him slightly less so he has something to fall back on. We are playing the same game with Hooper & Sharp I expect. Could end up with nobody if we are not careful.
