I agree with Blakey that we need a keeper, someone to push Davis rather than stick him on the bench all season. Kasper is just that sort of player who will improve once Davis takes him under his wing.

I can understand the Jay Rod interest and I would be surprised if he choose Celtic unless it releases Hooper for us? IMHO we will sign nobody until July the 1st as it means we end up paying them wages just to sit on the beach. However Adkins will agree several deals with football clubs and verbal agreements with some players until July.

My thoughts too, problem with plugging the gap is getting rid of the high paid players that can't take the club forward anymore in 2 years time.

Would be a better event If they had the players on the pitch doing 'The cross bar challenge' chip in the bucket (Golf) soccer skills knockout where the fans vote the best and maybe a charity match between the squad to entertain us with some show boating. I would be pretty sure you would get thousands of fans coming for that on top of the trophy being presented and a video showing the season highlights. Just my thoughts.
