Our season depends on a decent striker or two. Delap is a great option like Broja but getting a top striker alongside Adams is important. Its pretty clear A.Armstrong will be on his way.

Checked out a ratings forum and our home kit gets 3.7 out of 5 while the second kit gets 4.1. They actually loved the second kit. One of the highest marks was a 4.7 to WBA which was almost identical to our home one but they added a smaller black stripe either side plus they repeated it on the back. Just shows ours could of been a nice shirt.

Home kit is okay, makes JWP look skinny which gives hope to some of us fatties Saw PSG kit this morning which I think looks lush, if only we did a similar design for this shirt to jazz it up a touch more.

A total crap day yesterday especially the batting. With Surrey running away with it at Kent then we need to turn this around somehow.

Thought Abbas was only with us the first two months. Would be amazing to get him back towards the end of the season.

Now we go to the division one match with Essex. Chelmsford showing 4 days of good weather so maybe it’s best we try to bat for at least a day and a half. Surrey have Kent who are starting to show a little form. Wouid be great to be league leaders with a couple of matches left, a good 10k should then support them at the ageas.

What are your thoughts of the Luton manager? Good replacement for Ralph perhaps?

So we need to beat Gloucester tonight to qualify for the Quarters. Not bad after losing the first 4. I personally would drop McDermott as his batting and wicket keeping is awful. just realised we have another two matches to go after tonight.

Watched the babes thingy on Amazon/Netflix, can’t remember which but it was so clear he was a superstar back then. Cocky too which made him stand out. Such a shame the FA forced them to fly that night otherwise they would forfeit the next league game.

I’m cautious as we could be spending the JWP money up front. Totally agree we need a TOP striker and not one from the leagues below etc. IMHO the season hinges on a striker getting us 12+ goals to at least secure our status in this league.
