I’ve found out from a guy Dave Hill (my builder) who knows JWP very well from his Pompey days. JWP coaches his boys some Sunday mornings. Anyway Ralph and some players knew he was being replaced at the end of October but Semmens (not his decision) did a turnaround after results picked up plus Ralph did some training changes which was welcomed by the players. Its funny that Howe is now available to manage Newcastle after knowing he is not getting the Saints job yet! Semmens and him apparently have met several times recently according to my original source. Dave has also told me JWP will leave if we accept a good offer for him.

(4) Smallbone as an option off the bench NOT SO (1) Walcott not even on the bench (2) Che Adams and Adam Armstrong should not start (3) JWP back in but don’t slow the game down. Redmond/Smallbone & Armstrong have produced better corners than he’s done in the last 8 games. Only let him take the free kicks around the 18 yard box.

I will put my head on the line here and say that Howe is replacing Ralph at the end of October. Even if we win the next 3 games it won’t make a difference as the camp is not healthy at the moment and whoever the guys are that make those decisions are now taking action. Why it’s not being done now I don’t know but the source who has radio links with the club said something is being planned.

Was there not a report while back that Ralph had until the end of October to turn it around otherwise Mr Howe’s would be taking over? IMHO Ralph’s had enough time and it’s not suddenly going to come right for him. The man is broken, the teams confidence is shot and so it’s time for a change.
