I actually don’t see him banging in a few. He just keeps putting his foot through the ball despite having a player directly in front of him. He needs to learn to create a yard for himself.

Some obvious selections and some not so obvious. OBVIOUS: (1) Lyanco and Salisu at the back (2) Broja up front with Redmond there somewhere. (3) Stuart Armstrong with a starting role. (4) Smallbone as an option off the bench NOT SO (1) Walcott not even on the bench (2) Che Adams and Adam Armstrong should not start (3) JWP back in but don’t slow the game down. Redmond/Smallbone & Armstrong have produced better corners than he’s done in the last 8 games. Only let him take the free kicks around the 18 yard box.

Totally agree with this. What other tunes would they have to get the fans going?

But I have no objection if those lovely Brazilian ladies wanted to dance along your screaming.

Quality player and he oozes class. My fears are people are starting to notice and if he has massive ambitions then how long can we hold him for. Dunno if it’s me but he seems to do the job of two defenders as Bedbatek never gets a mention on the commentary.

I will put my head on the line here and say that Howe is replacing Ralph at the end of October. Even if we win the next 3 games it won’t make a difference as the camp is not healthy at the moment and whoever the guys are that make those decisions are now taking action. Why it’s not being done now I don’t know but the source who has radio links with the club said something is being planned.

Did he not say we’ve had 3 red cards this year and Mike Dean has been involved in all of them?
-
Interesting that the players think he’s going to be sacked soon according to the BBC Gossip pages.
-
I witnessed that too. Within seconds it was full and from that momemt we never stopped singing. Think I recalled Cockerill scoring one of the goals.
-
Was there not a report while back that Ralph had until the end of October to turn it around otherwise Mr Howe’s would be taking over? IMHO Ralph’s had enough time and it’s not suddenly going to come right for him. The man is broken, the teams confidence is shot and so it’s time for a change.

If we put out a strong team with 3,000 supporters cheering them on then I don’t see why we can’t win it. Chelsea don’t always have a strong run in this cup as it always clashes with the champions league. Going a nervy 2-1 to Saints.

Yes certainly an exciting prospect and hopefully in training this week Ralph will see how impressive he is.
-
There you go grumpy

Broja must start, that is all.

I personally think it will be a loan option as we should have one to use up. Its a matter of the right player becoming available if the team he’s from gets the ones they want in. So who’s buying what in the last few days? Maybe West Ham, Villa and Liverpool could have a no 6 who’s not going to feature for them?
-
I get the impression that Djenepo starts as Ralph prefers his left back covering. He tried KWP as left back today and probably felt it might of been a gamble in doing so. IMHO when Ralph realised that it’s better to put both Tino and KWP on the same right flank we will be flying again. He just needs to find the correct combo on the left and it might just involve S Armstrong.
-
I agree with you too, We played well second half vs Manchester United when he put the extra midfielder in. I just think if we had a good ball winner this would give us a better option.
-
So you would not kiss your Palace badge while doing a knee slide in front of the chapel?
-
Don’t shoot the messenger but I heard Ronaldo was offered to all teams in the EPL and we turned down the offer. I can only guess it was for financial reasons or perhaps we didn’t need a striker.
-
I do believe Armstrong wants a move back up north but unless we get an offer for him then it’s not happening. Must remember that Vestergaard and him were the best of buddies and this might of made things even more difficult. If Christie was an option then at least you move on a unhappy player member like Ings and Bertrand.
-
Shouldn’t have a problem selling him now for 10m and getting a better keeper in, Thats what I would do.

Which is it with us and 9 NILS?!?
