It's a conspiracy by led by Sky, didn't you know? Tbh if I were unfortunate enough to be a skate I'd be more worried about the teams all the way down to 14th, any one whom could mount a late charge to get into the playoffs. They re only 2 poor results away from dropping out of the playoffs. They should be comfortable, they should do it and if they do manage the playoffs and gain promotion, fair play because that is not easy to do down there. However we've seen them snatch defeat from the jaws of victory many times over the past few seasons.

Loyalty to failure? Also: Rooney's experience of what? Scoring goals against teams several tiers below England in the world rankings? Failure to progress past the quarter final stages of any competition? Throwing his toys out of the cot when things don't go his way on the pitch? What exactly does the national side have to lose by having a clean sweep and rebuilding from scratch?

Nice to see thane skate paranoia rearing its head. 'It's a Sky conspiracy to keep us in League Two' Yeah mate course it is....

The concept of irony is lost on the skates. They think it's got something to do with metal.

I'm pretty sure the Tesco money has been and gone. Might be wrong about that though, have they actually managed to publish any accounts yet?

Liverpool and Suarz would be a better example - flying high with Chomper, struggling without him

There you go. Hodgson will be taking Rooney. Wayne Rooney: Roy Hodgson backs striker for big role at Euro 2016 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35908204 So we can look forward to Rooney not getting anywhere near the ball, hands on his head or hips crying to the ref every time h gets tackled and generally doing half the job Vardy of Kane would do. F*cking bullsh!t

as positive as last nights performance was (with a lot of work still to be done) I'm afraid I can't see Hodgson doing anything other than slotting Rooney straight back in as soon as he is fit. Does my head in, Rooney was brilliant when he first turned up on the scene but those days are long long gone. He should never have even gone to Brazil.

Wimbledon could still make the playoffs and Orient aren't going to be giving up anytime soon. All it's going to take is two defeats and they could be out of it before they realise

Yeah because he was definitely ripping up The French league wasn't he. He was going nowhere in France

So wrong..... And yet...... I find this strange attraction....... Be still my beating heart! HOLD ON TO MY LEGS BOYS I'M GOING IN!

Dejan Lovren has left Twitter. Guess he's found out what happens when you behave like a ***t towards the club that plucked you from obscurity. He'll be sold in the summer.

Great win for the skates. Pity the teams above them all won, maintaining the 5 point gap whereas they lose two games and they could be back out of the playoffs. So despite the great result, they are actually in a WORSE position after today's games than before

It's a bit late in the season for that isn't it? Emergency loan? (I'm a little hazy on the rules) Tbh it seems a little like they are panicking a bit now and trying everything to ensure they at least make the playoffs. Any takers on them having bet everything on going up this season?

Wonderful. I'm taking my son to his first game soon. We've got tickets for the game against Newcastle and we're in the Chapel end.......

I was only teasing, just totally understand your frustration Also: 'I would like to congratulate Adam Lallana for playing for 90 minutes. W@nker' I read this as I was drinking some tea. Quite a lot came out of my nose I was laughing so much.

He might be sulking because he couldn't go- had to coach an under12's team
-
Will the club be sending minders to prevent tapping up by the bindippers?
-
Well that only really counts when you're on for a triple word score really
-
No, he didn't use cup final or make reference to the game being too big for the ref

I just scored a full house on my Skate buzzword bingo card

If we were out of contention for Europe I'd be ok with a loss because I think what Leicester have achieved is absolutely fantastic for football. However...... Sorry Foxes, we need these three points just as much as you do. I'm hoping for a humdinger of a match, but with the three points going our way which puts us into Europe. I reckon Spurs will choke under the pressure and Leicester will pick up points in other matches anyway. If losing to us costs Leicester the title, it'll be harsh but between now and seasons end they could do that against any team.

Given the hilarity I had on Twitter last night during the second half asking all the skates who started crowing at half time how they thought the match was going...... The obsession is alive and well. Your average skate has a massive chip on its shoulder about the better team in Hampshire. Doesn't take much to get them frothing at the mouth
