You've got Parsons who was in charge of a hoover brand and Kraft, Ankersen etc who are all more concerned with data and technology to care about the reality that is right infront of them.
-
It's pretty sad that we were as good as relegated after 15 games or so two years ago and it's going to be exactly the same this season. There's just very little enjoyment in it. Not just because of what the Prem has become but just how badly managed we've been, on and off the pitch.
-
For us, Sugawara, Lallana and Taylor are decent signings. Big Les could become a very good player but doesn't look ready. Which won't help us much this season. Edwards certainly has potential but Wood is a load of shite. On paper Cornet is a good signing but hasn't had many chances yet. BBD is total rubbish. So the recruitment has been hit and miss I think. I feel if RM was good enough at this level he would be doing better with what he has available.

It was 7 minutes. Pretty sure the corner was given at 97.10. Don't forget it's a minimum of 7 minutes. As soon as that corner is defended the whistle blows.
-
Indeed. The unbeaten run was great and fair play to them. But the reality is that we drew way too many games that we should have won.
-
Yep utterly baffling. Smallbone is one player you do not want to bring on when defending a narrow lead.
-
It's bad enough that Taylor didn't give it but the fact VAR didn't is absolutely disgraceful.
-
It gets even worse for Martin - looks to me that the player who (he claims) should've been marking the penalty spot was Smallbone - who he brought on with Fraser!
-
Totally get this. He does seem like a very arrogant person.
-
Asked Russell Martin if he fears for his future: "I had a brilliant chat with Dragan and the guys yesterday, so no." Bloke has got it cushty. Knows he isn't gonna be sacked. He can relegate us then get picked up by a bigger club like Kompany.
-
The longer we leave it the less chance we have of getting in a half decent manager. City away is a write off, so get him gone on Monday, stick a caretaker in charge and aim to have the new man in for the Everton game.
-
Martin tells the players they need to run more in games but what are the fitness team doing in training? Because whatever it is, it isn't working.
-
Definitely.
-
Carbon copy of the Ipswich last minute winner. How do you not learn from that. That is a tactical set up, not on the players. Imagine bringing Smallbone and Fraser on ahead of Taylor and Lallana. Stackable offences in their own right.
-
His subs changed the game for sure. Had to get his mates Smallbone and Fraser on didn't he. What a farce.
-
Brought on the totally wrong player.
-
Fuck off Martin. Terrible subs have cost us.
-
Passing the ball into the forwards much quicker today although we are still giving it away far too much. Anthony Taylor has been an absolute joke.
-
Surely it'll be the other way around? Who played wing back vs Arsenal?
-
Good team apart from Manning.
-
I actually think our best 11 is relatively easy to name now, bar possibly full back and one of the wide positions. Let's hope RM can start finding some consistency in his selections.
-
I do have this nagging feeling that the club will stick with Martin no matter what this season.
-
It's crazy. As much as I'm not sure Martin can turn it around, I'd be more than happy to be proved wrong.
-
He's clearly a very good man manager. Doesn't make him tactically good enough though.
