  1. ' I don't know for sure that the Russians did it' surely means you are questioning the event?
  2. And the sad thing is that the Russians will use such posts as propaganda to show their people that prominent people in the UK/world are saying such things
  3. Wow, you believe that there is a chance that the Ukrainians moved multiple dead bodies to areas to try and pin atrocities on the Russians? I assume you think they raped them as well. Ukraine had the moral high ground and most of the world behind them, to think they needed to stoop that low is incredible. Perhaps Im naive, but this is really far fetched Sadly this type of attitude is just what the Russians want to believe, their campaign of mis information is working. I was a resident of Salisbury, I witnessed how people thought that it was done by our own people, due to Russians use of social media. It seems their manipulation is working again.
  4. It is sad, but only down to the memories of his football skills.
  5. Hes fallen on his sword. Perhaps he was handed it by the club
  6. Has he said anything about Putins war
  7. Im sorry I adored MLT as much as anybody, but that does not excuse his actions now. What does a football club matter when women and children are getting raped and murdered, and he is using his position to deny this is happening. MLT has the mouthpiece as he gained his fame playing for us, he should not embarrass our fanbase with his ridiculous standpoint. I dont doubt the Ukrainians have done stuff to the Russian invaders but do not try and wave through the denial that this butchery has happened. Shame on us as a fanbase if we do
  8. MLT, we shouldn't forget, if I recall correctly nearly led us down the path to extinction when his golfing mate (Pompey fan?) made him believe he would save the club. In my opinion, Poor judgement of a character, perhaps.
  9. I have a MLT personalised Saints shirt that I bought in a charity auction in the 90's (cost £800). At the time only 2or 3 were MLT able to give away as it had the Premier League badge on it. Matt swapped it over from the bog standard club shop one as I had paid so much! It is now going to be taken down and put in a cupboard or I may get it auctioned and give the proceeds to the Ukrainian appeal. It is personalised and so may be worthless anyway.
  10. As we have Serbian owners whose people voted a pro Putin president in, they may not be against what Matt is saying. He may be invited to become the Comcal Ali of football

However appealing that scene is, I cannot ever bring myself to watch any Steven Segal films, but if you want to provide a link lol
  12. It is what I picked up on an article online. It didnt show where the claims are from. Do you store a weeks supply of electric or does the excess get put back onto the grid?
  13. As I have mentioned before, in my lifetime (60+) the worlds population has more than doubled. That is the major contributor to pollution. Each and every one of the worlds population adds to the carbon footprint, all want a car, phone and plastic products. I have no solution to the problem but we all have to use 50% less to get back to 1960's levels of consumption, more in fact as the modern consumer uses more. Has anyone done research how the worlds pollution and carbon has changed in the last 3 years due to Covid , where aircraft , road usage and industrial out put has been reduced dramatically. That would show whether we can haul back the carbon problem I would think
  14. The issue of storing renewable energy has proved an expensive problem that has so far hindered its ascension to the most relied-upon sources of power. Estimates suggest that to store a week's supply of solar or wind power, a household would have to obtain a battery the maintenance of which would triple their electricity bill. Though activists have made it clear that fossil fuels must be discontinued in the near future, they have not provided alternative solutions for energy.

To my mind the problem for us in this technical age is producing the missiles weapons etc quick enough to keep up. Cruise missiles take a long time to make. Sooner or later they would run out and then what?
  16. Depends where you draw the line where South is, that is just the south coast of course! lol
  17. We can’t play Broja so that is a problem
  18. Does Harry McGuire know he’s nicked his boots
  19. No Broja next game, interesting who Ralph selects

I think that is correct to a degree, but a war on 2 fronts where one side cant rearm (unless they use captured munitions) will only go one way long term. The Ukrainians will be ground down, not due to will ,but due to the fact they have nothing to fight with. Each time they lose aircraft, tanks etc they become even more overwhelmed. Unless the west somehow find a way of supplying such things it will be game over in time
  21. So if you are so angry that you walk onto the stage in front of millions, you decide to slap the bloke with a flat hand and not a punch....right
  22. If he had punched him he would surely have rocked and his hand was unclenched. Showbiz IMO Then the over the top speech lol
  23. Things are looking up for you Mack, last time there was a world war you held the FA cup for 6 years.
  24. Who was the nations barrister? To lose a case when an account was named after the pet dog, who didnt do a simple google about his inability to text or didnt know how to do a bet must be the worst lawyer of all time
  25. I feel sad for my daughter and grand-daughter who travelled up. Such a shame
