  1. Eveton have imo a better balanced squad and have a lot of players who'd get in our first 11. Ours wouldnt the other way around apart form JWP and Lavia
  2. I agree, Everton do have a good squad and should never be where they are. Dyche has brought that out, no excuse though he has given them a bounce. Still not who Id want long term but he will keep them up.
  3. Still havent come back with posts highlighting your claims what I said. It is your opinion of NJ style of football. Dyche is winning and so you csn do the told you so stuff
  4. You think he's throwing shots at the fans lol? You obviously didn't read or listen to what he said about our fantastic support at Newcastle and apologised that we didnt get a result. Often, we sometimes dont listen and only chose what we want to hear, Iam not above that
  5. Please, like you haven't done when you posted your claims that I thought fans should treat him as a hero, also show where I was pleased with his appointment? I dont think he is like Dyche, but if you mean up and in the oppos faces and playing the dark arts then perhaps, but DYche is not the only manager who plays that way. . I dont want a long ball game no, but I also dont want our backs tippy tapping to midfield who then pass it back again. I dont want the midfield by passed as Dyche used to do in the main
  6. Worth a listen to Dyches first interview on BBC football daily this morning. Our PR machine should have got NJ to issue a similar thing. Asking fans to get behind the team as that would make the job easier and players not under such pressure. He said the fans do make a difference. Obviously this is what Ive been asking for, not whether he is the right choice but to get behind us in our moment of need.
  7. If he is not going to try and help himself then he is indefensible, he isnt my choice, just wnt to give him the chance. No idea who could come in anyway
  8. Did I readsomewhere that ANkerson had told him that he wanted NJ to play a 5 at the back?? In the back of mind I thought I read that early days
  9. I do wonder why the clubs PR people are not giving him advice or recommendations how this is making his and the clubs situation harder.
  10. A very measured and fair assessment. This whole defence reminds me when we went down under Harry, when we bought Jacobson in and we never had any commanding centre back. oh for a Killer
  11. He's hot and cold for me. I agree DCC seems calmer, but Lyanco does give us an edge. Be interesting how he deals with Toney. Personally I dont see any of then really up to it. DCC was skinned by the Newcastle player who crossed for Lintons goal as SMS, they may have counted against him. My head is in a mix knowing what is best, the next 2 games are the acid test whether the groundswell becomes an avalanche
  12. Having watched Orsic play, I dont think as yet he has made himself a must pick
  13. Scott of the Northam posted a different version
  14. Point is, do they want to build bridges. Once they have decided it is hard to turn them back. Well the ones on here, to be fair the fans in the main are fair and only want to see us improve and give us hope.
  15. Its not normal. Personally I had never heard of Poch or Ralph before he came, and I respectfully suggest that you and many others hadnt either. Koeman if I recall correctly had an indifferent time as a manager, but he did inspire from where he started with nothing. Im not asking for hero worship, please tell me where I have said that? He also didnt come from Stoke, but did have a poor time there, before returning to Luton. Again you say I said treat him like a hero, please point us to this other extravagant claim. I have said give the man a chance, and get behind him as eroding the confidence hurts us all. Yes, you are bound to get your petulant way and have him gone, you can then make yourself ready to undermine the next candidate, if it doesnt fit your own personal agenda. I have to again make myself clear. NJ was not my choice and it was with trepidation that I saw we had hired him, but I felt that the clubs people found Thomas Frank (who again our fanbase would have scorned at that time, not now of course)and we should give him a chance to dig us out of the hole Ralph had left us. Funnily enough I didnt have to field these posts after the Palace, Man City cup games and away to Everton. Lets pray that we can get 4 points from the next 2 and things settle, I know we all want that success
  16. well it worked from the first moment he walked in the door, so it is not the normal way of things.
  17. So lets try and work this through. The central defenders were marking (lol) their forwards who were waiting for the cut back, you feel they should abandon the forward, to run to a midfielder running into the box. Thus leaving said forwards space to have a tap in!!!!. I think you need to rethink this Whitey
  18. It bleeding well wont help, of course it wont be down to that but will contribute
  19. All the way
  20. You still believe AA etc should not have tracked the runner?
  21. they should have sacked Ralph sooner, they should not of let Oriel leave, but it is done. I still think we only have 40% chance of staying up but not sureif we change who could do better
  22. yes.
  23. We know what fans reaction will be. You are not that blinkered to not realise that. There is no doubt he has lost a lot of winnable games, and is not good enough, but when you have players missing absolutely gilt edged chances, it is pretty tough. I think the only game that really was poor, was the Forest defeat. Fans moaning is what this forum is classy at, me included. What I dont understand is how we binned him before he had a chance, how we have no faith in SR who have actually put their own money on the line, in their choice. I have been critical of SR in the past, especially earlier in the season, by the way. A poisonous atmosphere is only going to do one thing, we will lose more than we win, yes, it will achievewhat you want us sacking the manager but it wont keep us up
  24. I think he was pre 1970?
  25. If we lose the next 3-4 or 5 defo. I wouldnt be averse to change then, who to lord knows. Personally I dont think that will happen and this will calm down. Sadly, even if we win a few, there will always be those who will wait for us to lose 2 games and be back moaning that he is not good enough. He has hell of a jib turning those fans around. I do hope he can at least get o lot back on board, we need it
