  1. Well you can stop bringing Ings to te conversation as he is now at WHU, as for Broja he is lying around recouperating somewhere. He has not pulled up trees in the games he played this season and towards the end of his time with us had lost his zip. Any forwards worth their salt are playing for the top sides and any others are a risk. WHU spent a fortune on that Italian and he hasnt fired, so what if we do the same just to appease?
  2. A bargain if he kept us up and any one else we sign doesn't. WHU pay massive wages and as he is a mercenary that's where he will go. Dont believe he is a Saints fan or some kind of local hero as he isn't, he's only interested in No 1
  3. Are you sure DT is Alpine Saint?????? Im sure Alpine had a better judgement of a player lol
  4. Gakpo may not turn out be the bees knees and isnt a centre forward as far as I can see
  5. I think you have got it wrong re Larios
  6. To be fair you can see him hobbling after the first tackle. He did look like a mix of George Lawrence and Ricardo Fuller
  7. The problem with 5 year contracts is that if the player is a dud we are lumbered! Too many times in the recent past we've had players on amazing long term contracts and we cant sell them. Watching the deadline day documentary on Sky I saw last night, the agent said 'you will be on a 4 year contract but you will leave after 2 to go to a bigger club.'
  8. I dont know, was he
  9. I wonder if we have set our minds on the Coventry forward and so dont want Ings for that reason
  10. Im in 2 minds whether Ings not coming back was good or not. WHU have so many options up front and so he wont play every game I assume, are they also in Europe?? If so Danny has his dream
  11. Would he pass a medical?
  12. For me, if JWP flourishes in the more attacking running past the attacker role, there could well be a place for him in the England team. Whether he can push out the players there that is a problem for him
  13. I think the defender going to the post was planned, just the ball moved quicker than the defender as he had a Saints player alongside him and so he couldnt move too soon
  14. Who? Jones, I doubt it as he's Welsh. There again if he was a right back ten he'd be a shoe in. As for JWP he did not deserve to go at that time. Perhaps NJ has foundthe perfect role for him as his goal at Everton was something special
  15. Are we the new West Ham, it seems we are being linked to loads of players! Im used to us being linked to players from Greenock or Folkstone
  16. Could do a youtube video of me at 63 and people would think I was worth 30m. Christ, remember the Tinman from South America, the club played a video on the bigscreen just after we bought him and he looked like Maradonna and Duncan Ferguson combined, sadly we got Shiela Ferguson
  17. Entertaining as always
  18. I think the latest episode was perfect. Glenn especially, owned up to perhaps being too quick to condemn NJ, but at the same time left the door open for future criticism. All fair IMO. Nobody at present can be sure if NJ is the messiah or not lol
  19. I was also in the give him time camp, but beware it is not the time for told you so quite yet. I like his passion and he will bring the fans with him, he owes the players like Che and JWP a lot as they have shown their keenness to back him .That immediately makes fans think that he may not be that bad. The twerp who said KWP disliked him was soon shown to be a bull@@@@ merchant
  20. will be interesting how the Everton fans are tomorrow. They played a massive part in them staying up last season. Hopefully they turn on their team and we can take advantage, if we give them anything to rouse them and that will be a major negative for our chances
  21. Personally it has destroyed my European sales. The paperwork and added costs make the shipping and export of items impractical. Whilst Iam in a niche market it all adds to the reduction in our exports from my industry. The major players in the auction market , world famous names are moving their operation to Paris. The art market generated millions to our economy and now is bleeding away
  22. Probably taking him around to show him the area to see if its his type of area.
  23. I suppose it takes all kinds and we all look at things differently. I really enjoy it, and find it good to listen to as there is plenty of good insight. This particular episode I felt a bit disappointed with as I had a bit of an uplift after a win. Just felt the total dismantling of the manager, club and team a bit unwarranted. If you read Glenns blogs, he is never short of a cutting comment but they are entertaining and he is doing it from the heart. Im sure he could start an argument in a phone box but his heart is all Saints. Anyway, I am a big supporter of this podcast. Looking forward to the next episode to see if there is a softening of the stance.....I wouldn't hold my breath though
  24. I dont think10,000 empty seats have anything to do with what NJ says. It was live on Sky, terrible weather, economics, and the fact the most optimistic fan would expect a thumping. It is not great going to a home game, seeing the side battered and have to endure the celebrating away fans. The seats will soon fill once there is hope,.
  25. Interesting that someone posted the utter drivel that KWP hated him, not the way he ran up and celebrated with him I should say
