Are you really still in the 'Trust in Les' crap? I thought those had Ross's name on them
-
yep enjoying the fruits of Carillo, Hoydt Lemina , etc etc. Forgot not the gratitude we should show Mark Hughes for him demanding we buy Ings
-
I dont myself feel that the PL should breathe life into the lower league clubs.Should Waitrose help Debenhams etc etc
-
Look at yourself moaning, get over yourself

That's fair comment but if you wait up and just want to catch up on Saints it is annoying.
-
Did you tune in for the Arsenal game then? I doubt many Arsenal fans did either. Anyway its not about that its about impartiality as it often said that the sequence is down to the importance, amount of goals scored and incident.

Frank Bough passed away. Big name in the 80/s /90's then got caught up in a scandal and then disappeared from public life

Lol, April 1st surely.

Oh and listening to Ryan Bertrand in the weekend pod on BBC was pretty good, as they said to him did he know it was a year since the 9-0, with him replying did they have a cake and balloons. He also said did they also report the anniversary of the 8-0 v Sunderland . He spoke well about the club

How was Arsenal Leicester the first game when it ended 1-0? Our game had the league leaders being beaten, 2 -0 and a red card.Im glad I didnt stay up waiting for the programme and as for 2 Everton pundits! Chappers did try to even it out but BBC impartiality really is a non thing nowadays

I feel exactly the same, he was good on the ball and energetic. Making probing forward passes. Early days but

People are calling for another lockdown. That is going to cause hardship in other ways, as I was told this morning where a laundry that relies on Hotels pubs etc stated that they will close as they cannot cope with another shutdown. 1m people have died worldwide with Covid19 , the influenza after the Great war killed 100m but we carried on. Aids killed millions and we didnt shut the clubs and pubsthen

Ok thanks.I assume we wontbe buying anyone. There are some good players in the lower leagues who could do a good job

The inevitable will happen and the top 6 will end up in a super league. It is about time all the other clubs showed some steel and rather than them leaving at their own terms and time we should cut them adrift now. It would take balls but the cards are on the table and push them into the unknown. We will almost certainly be a major victim of the cartel as 18 clubs would mean one poor season and we are gone without parachute payments. I think Im right in saying that about 10years ago Celtic and Rangers tried something similar and the rest of the Scottish clubs told them to leave. They soon changed their stance.

I must be losing it, I thought we have been past deadline day but West Ham and West Brom have made signings How can that be I cant recall it happening before
-
aidy boothroyd ought to join him the under 21's drawing 3-3 with Andorra ffs
-
people forget that saints will only get part of the fee. If £15 the broadcasters take their cut for supplying the equipment etc , not just one camera etc, then i assume the away club gets their cut i suspect we get a £5. Crikey what do we expect saints have a very expensive mouth to feed.

The Sunday Times - Southampton put up for sale at £250m
OldNick replied to The Odd Guy's topic in The Saints
I lost my in the know. I told people on here about the arrival of Kelvin, Morgan and another cant remember who it was now. Plus a few other snippets but my mate is long gone from the club. As for people bashing Turkish, why do so we then lose the chance of info that we wouldn't normally be privy to. Jealousy in my opinion. Keep it up Turkish im interested -

I have 4 military cross groups from WWI, the latest one I bought has loads of history including letters from his officer colleagues in the trenches bemoaning the sad loss of his life, pictures and an album of related bits about him. The one i have added images of has other pieces as well.Notice the blood stained wallet from where he was badly wounded

The wealth is not in clubs like ours, its in the hands of players and agents. If we were so flush we wouldnt be wallowing around waiting for sales before buying. Take millions out of the pot and thats less for us to improve. Again, when we were in trouble there was no help and sadly that is the way. It is a business and whilst clubs pay lip service to the community they are there to make a profit. Ive been watching Saints from the late 60's and at no time have we ever been flush nough to give any funds away.
