I totally get where you are coming from but to me the balance is 1. do you believe SR's arrogance will see them sacking the manager 2. the cost after paying off Ralph (why he was given such a long contract!! that goes for many of the players as well) 3. If we have to accept that the manager is staying, should we not shrug our shoulders and get behind the team and management. Afterall it is self harming not to. There will be a percentage of knuckleheads who want us to fail badly in the next couple of games just so their vain hope of a change comes into play. We didnt expect NJ so who they are likely to follow up with lord knows I personally am giving NJ time and feel he will turn things around. I would like to see us being more aggressive, get the ball into/near the oppositions penalty area rather than the playing around our defence, into midfield and back again while the opposition can reform their defence. I believe you wont see our players doing the 'gentleman's excuse me' allowing attacks to build, but the dark arts will break up attacks before they get our defence. The best teams have always done it, but our team of choirboys play it fair. Get some grit in our game, getpoints on the board then start developing the pretty stuff. Far more exciting

No idea, perhaps they thought we were going to play longball, whilst at the same time asking for Dyche to be manager
-
No I dont agree, he was booed as people thought he was rubbish and the were many threads on Saintsforever (?) saying so
-
People say they didnt but Crouch was booed time and again, then he made his mark and became a hero, of course no-one ever booed him and was airbrushed out of history. To me the plain fact is the owners are not going to sack him yet and so by making his life (the teams) hell, only hurts us

I always feel bad how Ricardo Fuller was treated at our club. It was a very sad episode
-
I am nt sure whether he should be an in or out, but to be fair we haven't had time to really assess. He is working with a squad who gave us the Villa and Wolves performances
-
There is no arguement about the Forest performance, but this is the squad who gave us the inept and useless displays at Villa and Wolves.
-
I saw a glimpse on SSN that Saints were after a Celtic player but didnt catch who it was. If the clip of him driving through the midfield to score was not unusual he looks an exciting positive player.

We won ffs, we came from a goal down and that adversity usually is too much for us. The players dug in and got a result. A bit of praise may have been in order, although some criticism may well be just. The constant attacking of the team I felt could have been toned down a bit, but Glenn especially doesn't hold back. Amusing at times and writes some great blogs but I thought it was a bit over the top.

I really enjoy this pod, and was so looking forward to the latest edition. I had felt uplifted with a win and felt there would be some positivity. From the first minute there was a tirade of acerbic opinion, and brought my elation of a win straight to the floor. I know it is all about opinions, but guys give us a bit of respite and a bit of hope!! The fanbase needs some positivity and we did win. Ok everybody says it was due to bad defending, but we WON and apparently didnt play that badly. Anyway I still love the pod but try not to depress me on a Monday morning lol especially after a victory

Im not 100% in but I have held back with critisising him too much
-
One thing for sure we can never win with some fans lol
-
Congratulations Nathan Jones and Saints. Obviously also to our fantastic away support
-
As if you re going to get much balance from a match thread Lol. Chez is probably as fair as any to ask
-
He twisted his ankle in training a few weeks back
-
Reading the match threads really is comedy gold.

He put fans noses out of joint as he wanted ex players etc to pay for their seats not get complementary ones, banning a few favourites inc MLT and LM if my memory serves me correct. Sadly he destroyed a lot of the clubs history by binning it (apparently, Duncan would know more) In my eyes he did some really good things, any transfer business was kept totally in house and news didnt get out. Marcus trusted him and so I feel that is a great recommendation.
-
Another thing that he said that always annoys was 'did he play the game' re Ankerson. Apparently is a pro footballers eyes only players know the game. Tell that to Mourhinho and Wenger, 2 of the most successful managers in World /PL football
-
wow, that is quite a thing to wish for. The bloke had an opportunity and went for it. Im sure we all would, rather than say 'No thanks, Im going to turn down the massive riches as I dont think Im good enough' lol
-
Doswell saying that ABK gave up may look pretty stupid if the rumours that ABK has done his ACL!!!!
-
Who would take a job, that basically is you have to take 18-22 year olds, make them better, play attractive football and oh as you build your team the better ones are sold. Ok I wasnt over the moon us having NJ but boy do we make it harder for ourselves and the players by totally turning on him within a few games. Shame is that once people have made their mind up / listened to others and like sheep decide all is crap. Sometimes you get what you vote for and there you have Brexit
-
Another thing!!! we have had a manager in from Bundesliga and now the Championship and neither have come up with gems from those leagues, There must be some
-
I just read that Saints are trying to loan a central defender from Everton lol. It goes on to say that Everton would sell him. Who actually sanctions these things if true? It just seems naive, and if it is to purchase even more mad as Everton will surely want to stitch us up with a high price
-
And a totally different style of player. I can see the fear in Casamiro's eyes as Edozie comes at him to do a crunching tackle. I remember being by the touchline for a Burnley game and was astounded to see that the majority had massive thighs, it was incredible,
