  1. When I was on the Northam, Ricky Lambert got a bit of abuse, Lazy fat bast@@@ was one comment. Pelle got loads on here, as well as Tadic, although he got a bit less
  2. Mane got loads of abuse on here.
  3. All due respect but I dont think you would need to invest to get an income. The interest alone would keep you very well placed
  4. To be fair, if he had proved himself as a goalscorer he wouldnt be in the 20-30m price barcket
  5. I have no problem if we sign Winks. The problem for Winks is 2 fold, the fan base are negative before he arrives, and paramount thing is that if JWP leaves for Winks to fill the place the fans will hate him more!! Sadly my view is I dont feel there is a player in the team who I would be really sorry to see leave.
  6. I dont think he is a Saints fan, think its Villa for him
  7. I think we would cringe to see how much we got back for VVD fee
  8. Again fair points but I cant imagine a hardened leader being in such a midfield, but perhaps Im just steeling myself for JWP to leave and trying to justify that we may not miss some parts of his game
  9. I think that is very fair,
  10. Not sure if this at all relevant, but I do see that JWP is put as a leader. I wonder if people look to see who was captain in both of our 9-0 defeats
  11. if Kalvin Phillips is going for around £40m we are in a dream world at 75m. His worth is 40m in my opinion
  12. Yes, as he is not worth 75m
  13. I dont believe you are above saying pretty crass things either. We wouldn't be there now if Cameron had made the proviso that there should be a 10% difference before it was acted on. Only a few percent won the vote, even Farage conceded on the night before the final result. If he hadn't been chipping away for yours there would not have been a vote. Any way you have your way, there will be winners and losers, but the vast majority are going to lose and that is very sad. Osbourne says we will go back in the future. The older vote who in the main were Brexitteers are falling off the cliff and the young will be able to vote for their future, that is as long as Love Island is not on TV the night of the voting. A dumbed down nation.
  14. Ok I agree I was wrong to say that, and unusual for me to give such an opinion, but I believe he has hurt my children and grandchildren's future massively. Someone who does that does not get my best wishes.
  15. Yes the irritating sod was the man for that. I curse the day when that plane crash didnt have a fatality. A person who thinks hes patriotic but ironically caused more damage to our future than any other.
  16. I glanced at the topic and thought it said Matt Le Tizz
  17. If you watch the doco film about Cambridge analytics involvement, and Cummins you will see they sidelined Nige as a major vote loser. More and more Brexitteers are saying they regret the decision they took. A lot of these people are intelligent but fell for the 'easiest deal in history' lines. You seem to me to be still happy with the vote, sadly our economy doesnt. Covid has been used as a shroud to hide the disaster business has had to deal with. It is early days but our demise as a nation in creeping faster all the time, add to that the perfect storm of fuel prices (nobodies fault except Putin) and the cost of living. Ive worked through a few recessions and seen the pain they bring, it is concerning there is a good chance we are hurtling towards one. This will not all be down to Brexit as of course the EU are going through the same, but they also have seen costs to them due to our nations ridiculous hari kari
  18. I suspect had he not played for us and we saw he was available there would be multiple threads moaning why weren't we going for a proven PL marksman.
  19. I recall Mick Channon leaving to go to Man City and hating hi, he returned and gave us some of his football. I would take him back as he could mean us staying up. 5-10 goals
  20. I suspect he would look better as the quality and aura of those around him. He is too lightweight IMo
  21. I hope the links to Minami-NO is not true!!!
  22. I doubt it as 'very soon' can be also stated as a tomorrow that never comes
  23. exactly. I doubt Spence or Garner will be there next season.
  24. I dont think he is good enough for the very top teams in England as he is useless passing out the ball. So our level of club is probably his best bet, all in MHO of course
  25. Are you confident that they are going to spend big? You imply that you feel that maybe in the pipeline. Myself I suggest it is going to be more of the same of plodding along, being self sustaining. This means we have to sell our main assets to spend on the team. As for JWP in the top 4 sides, Hojberg is very combative whilst JWP is magnificent at set pieces. Im not sure what JWp is, he is very tidy and covers lots of ground. He isn't really to my mind a playmaker, he definitely doesn't play defence splitting balls. To be fair to him he hasn't a lot to play with.
