I looked into becoming a patron but I wasn’t sure how it worked if there had been a subscription service it would have worked for me. I’m not too savvy how these things work but patron seemed a bit more complicated for me, but that was probably just me. Anyway my hope that there would be a last minute reprieve has been quashed but perhaps if you miss it too much ..........

Who takes notice of Garth Crooks anyway? He is the biggest clown pundit around and is only there for multi cultural reasons IMO
-
I doubt his knockers would notice how he chased back and defended the break form our corner. He is one of our most important players, and our form without him proved it
-
Was he a massive success? I like him but I dont believe he set the world on fire

It took only 4minutes 28seconds for the commentator to mention the Leicester result.

Yet another great episode Ben, I had forlorn hopes that there would be a change of heart, sadly not. You will be sorely missed. One day you may reappear, or perhaps team up with another pod. You are a great presenter and kept things moving smoothly, very professional and a very enjoyable listen. Thanks for everything and I wish you the best for the future

Ah I see, ididnt read or take in all he wrote, thanks

I didnt think it would be double but the cost of living is higher down here. I doubt a footballer in these days will be looking at a 2 bed flat to be fair.

Players you would sign from relegated teams....

I thought he was Ok at Derby but he is just not lit the PL up. He is just a tad too slow and doesnt impose himself. Too much like our plodding midfielders from the past. -
it is a fair point, but they have spent on higher wages and still haven't taken advantage of that. I assume all clubs in the South could have the same argument and so he may get some backing.

Episode 124 (post-Bournemouth) - Total Saints Podcast
OldNick replied to TotalSaintsPod's topic in The Saints
Selfish lol . Im sure it is all consuming and really appreciate the show, it will leave a hole during the season but I respect your decision.... Im not sure were that unfashionable you meet lots of Saints fans all over the world. Many not from our home city. Im not saying that we have a fanbase like the top 8 or 10 clubs but..... -

I heard that this morning and ruined the start of my week. I just hope they can find somebody to do the producing to keep it going. -
A relative worked on the dismaland scheme
-
He has been given loads of chances but please give me 3 examples when he changed the game enough to be picked as a starter the following game? He has based his career on one goal
-
You would have thought we would have a option to buy in the loan deal. Surprised that we didnt
-
His performance at Exeter in the league cup away many moons ago was the biggest joke of a goalkeeping performance I have ever seen. It is impossible to describe how poor it was, he was totally devoid of any confidence and it was so sad to see it.
-
Lol, so you thought he should have shot from an acute angle rather than clip the ball to the unmarked player who scored. Good god you really cant win with some fans
-
I switched off at half time and went to sleep, i probably would have fallen to sleep easier had I left it on
-
Hey Mack, at least you have the guts to turn up, all the others (not that there are many nowadays) have slipped back under their stones
-
Lol, so his chip for the first , his sht that brought out a fantastic save, and of course his work chasing down in the 98th minute shows that he's a headless chicken lol. Look back to the results when the headless chicken was not playing just before lockdown, then perhaps you will see how poor a judge you were in making that post

problem with the PL basically saying it was a dive is that JWP wont get penalties awarded inthe future on 50-50's. Point is always good at Goodison but caught by one longball and so they decided 2nd half to lump it long. We were pretty good and I was pretty relaxed watching the game. Madness with the Bednarek tackle, its either foul and red card or play on. The problem with VAR is that it is the old boys club, they dont want to show their mates up and so side with them. Perhaps the Stockley Park team should be ex professionals who have really studied the laws of the game and kept apart from the refs. Overall I thought Lee Mason was pretty fair even though hes from Pompey
-
Surely that will be a positive for them. They wont have their wages to pay over the summer and there is going to be a big pool of free agents to choose from. I would suggest they wil come out stronger not weaker due to that
-
Thanks, very good and raised a few smiles there.

To be fair to me, I had mentioned and noticed 2 or 3 occasions where you could see his potential. The clever flick to set Nathan away from the bye line away to Chelsea or Leicester ( I cant remember what game now)and he did another again I cant recall when. He was also very unlucky early in the season where there was a brilliant reflex save that stopped him scoring. So I do believe I have been consistent in my opinion

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/jul/07/adam-lallana-will-not-play-again-for-liverpool-to-protect-transfer-says-klopp So he's a legend according to Klopp and wants to sign a new contract but Klopp is not going to play him in case he gets injured and so cant have a move. Kind of says he knows he's injury prone and he cant wait to move the legend on
