  1. i thought it was a great jesture by those 2 and I wouldnt criticise the fans for applauding and showing their respect back.
  2. i noticed that in the post match interviews that NA has mentioned him learning as well. The decision to take off our best players against Man u may be the watershed, I suspect the players would have lost a bit of confidence in him then
  3. I have supported KD in the past but this season he seems to have a complex that he is not good enough. He seems to have lost the spark that made him so good in the past. I said he should be given his chance for all e has done for us, but he may need to be rested. To be fair though, apart from Clyne the whole defence is poor. As for Fox!!!!!
  4. yeah but 20,000 of them were at Lords, it was a 3 o'clock kick off on a saturday afternoon when they are normally servicing their mother and sisters, it wasn't live on Sky and the distance they have to travel
  5. He is such a miracle worker he hasn't had a job in years lol. His status and experience would never let a 3 goal lead slip against a division 1 team, or against Man u in 45 minutes...........oh
  6. the lad on the bottom right corner has the PL badge on his shirt, I think they are not easy to get
  7. it just shows that when PFC are gone for good that the Skates children, grand children and great grandchildren will be saints fans. of course some will be ingrained to hate us , but much like before the 70's fans from both clubs did not hesitate going to support their local neighbours. It seems sensible but with football rivalry nothing is sensible
  8. Thanks I did not see that. As you are aware i feel the Fl will do anything to keep them alive . PFC and the administrators seem to be living of this for sometime. The FL etc have been helping them time and again I feel they may change the rules to help.it seems the threat of liquidation send tremors through the league and so they move their position to stop it happening.
  9. 100% I dont wish for Adkins to be sacked but if he carries on doing the most ridiculous and reckless substituions of our best players with 15minutes to go he deserves to lose his job. That decicion has already cost us at least 1 precious point this season.
  10. The FL holding things up, it wouldn't be that BC is demanding the -10 be quashed I presume
  11. well she has no integrity as if she really believed it was wrong, she should have blown the whistle
  12. The accept and move on, was regarding the apology from the Sun, not the tragedy. My wording obviously made that unclear. I have every sympathy for the innocent victims and it makes me sad to see children as young as 5 died. They were not drunk and urinating on policemen but excited going to a football match. The same could be said for the victims of Hysel who i never seem to hear about from the Liverpool people. The cover up is extraordinary but Iam not totally surprised and would expect many more events have been covered up under all political parties over the years. The Iraq war and Dr David kellys death has always seemed strange and unusual. Let the top brass of the Police who covered this up, as well as the top men of the Police federation get prosecuted. Who by now would be living their dotage on big pensions.
  13. seems the FL did indeed bend over to save them again
  14. It is disgraceful how the Police have covered this up, but also pretty sad that the whole force is being tarred with the same brush by many. On the day, I suspect there were many who did above their call of duty. The Sun did apologise, we should accept it and move on. I do not feel all the Liverpool fans were above blame, the gates were opened and there were many outside without tickets, how many pushed in without thought we will never know. The sad thing is that decent football fans who got in to the ground died needlessly, let us hope that the people responsible do get their day in court.
  15. I assume the 2-3m they had in the bank a few weeks ago, is still paying the wages etc
  16. Ive just noticed that there have been over 4,770000 views on this thread. To put into context how much the had cheated/taken /lost in their reckless spend it would be about £6 a click(or view) they have taken from the revenue and about £30 a click (view)to all other debtors (£150M) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. i would agree if the carpet and fitters arrived late but the invoice!!!! Probably a small business and peoples livelihoods involved. Cashflow is very important. The company are at fault by not issuing the invoice but staff can be useless at times. They need a rocket.
  18. Did you hear those Crawley fans having a go at the ref and the Pompey bench? Things like 'you lot should have gone pop years ago', 'dont worry you'll be out of a job by the end of the season' etc etc
  19. that's a really good example to compare lol
  20. i dont wear them as I think it looks sad middle aged blokes in these kits. When I was younger i might well have but in those days it was not clever wearing your kit to the away games as you were a target. Well thats your opinion, when Im driving about I see a striped shirt and think it a saints fan only when getting close it is Sunderland Stoke etc. As we have been out of the PL so long the younger fans from around the country would not recognise us as Saints fans but Stoke or Sunderland as we have not been on the radar. The club will look at the best commercial way forward and if they indeed do want to progress in the East etc (not Norfolfk) they would like to get an identity. All in my humble opinion of course. The kit is smart and you dont look like a deck chair when walking around West Quay etc
  21. Funny how it is only now you want that. i can'trecall under MM and all that followed any noise until the bill was to be paid. MM started it all and got out before the s### hit the fans (nice pun) The countless times you got on your knees and licked the cracks of the ar### of Russians , Arabs and any one else who kept you at the top table is laughable. only when they started to dump on you did you ever start to question. Yes it is a rotting carcass, and if you were offered a phoenix club in the PL or Championship without FP or the old club you would grab it in a heartbeat. The only reason you hang on with fingernails torn and bleeding is to keep a league placing, you don't want the fight to climb the leagues as you know full well there are not enough of you to go the full distance. I always will remember how you came on here telling us your mate Lynham was the real deal and was going to save us, and i suspect you knew he wasnt but wanted us to go into the depths. What goes around comes around and it would be Karma IMO
  22. Wes you are kidding aren't you???? Mack is well aware of what he is doing and part of his great sense of humour, he is the Skate on here I'd be very sad to see leave here.
  23. Ho did that whole piece because he knew someone would post it on here and his memory lives on Lol. Some of what he says is true, we did not like playing 2nd fiddle to them, afterall we had been top dogs for 30 or more years and so it comes hard to see your neighbours doing well especially if you were in turmoil. I myself disliked the way they got to the position on the back of cheating. The FA cup etc can't be taken away but it would balance things if they suffered real football pain.
  24. I was at both and to my mind the Everton defeat was the worst by a long way. Anderlect doesnt even make the radar for me. If we had beaten Everton almost certainly we would have beaten Watford in the final, wheras the cup winners cup was never going to be won.
