I keep being told that the money is an offshore holding company. I dont know if that would be possible to get past the FL being so or in fact it is anywhere near the truth or possible. Perhaps the people who know about such things could enlighten.Would if this is the case, the peoples names behind it not be published?

True but actually coming out of it in the best condition is paramount.The days are going on,the risk of further penalties are getting closer. NSS who is a friend of TL has put up a couple of posts today. Trying to read between the lines it seems that Pinnacle based their offer on us getting the -10 back after receiving legal advice. That alone seems madness to me as surely they should have factored in worse case scenario. That would mean they have either gone back to Fry and tried to offer less, which may in turn mean that the creditors may not then agree to a CVA (-25) or are in negotiation with the FL and asking them to not give them any more sanctions for not having a CVA if they accept the -10. I cannot believe they based their offer on not getting a -10. As I say it is me reading between the lines and so be wrong.

when I was at school they didnt have teacher training days. They just came in gave you a slap around the ear and you lived in fear of being singled out. If the teacher asked a question and told people to put their hand up if they knew the answer, most of the class did, not because they knew but worked on the law of odds that they would nt be asked to explain the answer.

Sadly after all the hype and enthusiasm that was around last week the morale of the supporters seems to have been crushed. Something that seemed a done deal and a future at long last, looks to be falling around our ears. A statement that the wages have been covered as well as the HMRC and players bonuses would immediately lift the spirits but until that comes we have to look on the downside. NSS it is more worrying for me where you say that Pinnacle offer was in the understanding that the -10 would be waived. I assume that now it wont be they are going to make a different offer as the original offer was based on doing so. that could mean that we will not be guarenteed a CVA as the creditors may now not agree and so TL is trying to get the FL not to impose the extra penalties, but perhaps still accept the -10.

Ginge you are rightly behind Pinnacles bid as you loike myself want a club to support. I halso want Pinnacle to suceed for the same reasons but as I have said all along that is why we need MJ not to be all wind. If I was him and after taking all the abuse on here Id put 2 fingers up and say you dont deserve to be saved.Part of me wants him to win the bidding just so he can get his credibility back. Unless that happens he will always be the fall guy. The Swiss are a strange one, whyt when Fry gave exclusivity did he put them to 1 side especuially a he said they were worth billions? Im not agreeing but saying some maybe spot on. I dont live in your fuzzy all is good world, where just because our hero is at the front all will be fine. If Pinnacle come up with the wages then we can all join you but if there is another statement saying that the lawyers are looking at a couple of little minor legal matters first, again then Id get a bit more concerned.

Well I was more suppoortive of RL than many on here and I categorically say that I dont want him near the club ever again, add the rest of the crew to that as well including the lady you champion

it is a great job. driving new Bentley convertables and meeting people for meals at s****y restaurants and having the ultimate power who you choose.Add the fantastic bonusses you make as you string the deals out for the big fees. Of course all this is done legally and correctly, no stone unturned and all that but it is hell of a good way to make a living.

Duncan Im sorry i thought I had put it up on other threads. My friend when i mentioned MJ was immediately dismissive of him. He said that they were strung along for 2 months and at the last moment when needed the Saudi moneyman disappeared. His words were like yours of a fantascist, but he could not say for sure that there wasnt somebody there who let him down last minute. The same could of course could happen to TL and he would look like a fantascist as well. Therefore i have indeed backed off from being fully supportive mainly due to that and also I was a bit annoyed that a bid was put in the day exclusivity was finished and didnt wish for Pinnacle to be derailed. Hearing from other people who know about the bid gives me confidence that he may have someone, and again state, for him to get to this stage in a very large takeover like SFC would cost him/his group many thousands. That makes it a very expensive hobby is if it just timewasting.
