i did my bit thankyou. If I had in any believed that some of it would be dispersed in fees to get the administrator to sort out a bloody picture in the boardroom I may well not have bothered. Any money spent at present could send the club over the edge, taking the administrators time up is ridiculous about something very unimportant. we are close to foldng and are more worried about a picture than getting our priorities right IMO -

well Gordon as you meandered around the shiny new stadium and rightly walked proudly through the turnstile for your first visit, how did you get your Rupert out banner through.I had hell of a job getting my placard through against Burnley the other day. Having done so it must have been hell of a march as you walked shoulder to shoulder to the thousnads of others marching on the Millenium screaming your Swing Lowe songs at all wanted to listen. No of course you didn't as like myself and 99% of saints fans you were enjoying our day in the sun. You see i dont see the whole of RL's tenure as a negative, I never felt comfortable how he came to the club but Im a fickle football fan, I turn a blind eye if things go well. I still felt the scar of GH;s departure and when RL dared consider taking him back I was in uproar. To my elder brother and some of the others who sat with me in the Kingsland (who were happy for his return)I stated 'I'd rather be relegated than have that Judas back' Quite profound really. then we had the manager merry goround.Yes a series of poor selections, but HR should have saved us. Then relegation that cost us our revenue. At that point it should have been the time to stop and take stock of where we went from there, sadly we spent more than we could afford in those conditions. RL mistakenly came back again and so we are now where we are. In summary all things were negative under RL and not all were negative under any of the others but they all contributed to where wev are now, without exception -
It is something we are not privvy to, but the costs of running the Saints must be drawing down on the little we had left. I was always of the view that it would go to the wire but as the hours past with no news i get slightly more concerned at no news of a takeover. Lets hope Dubai Phil who is flying across now has a Arab investor alongside him to buy us up

It is a combination of all those things., add to that the reckless overspending and you have got the best ingrediants to kill a football club.To have 1 incompetant chairman is 1 thing but to have a series of them is really unlucky. I would go back as far as Askhams first arrival at the club and the decay has gone on from there. To be fair had MLT not been here we would have gone to the wall years ago. -

Do you realise everytime you contact Mr Fry that you are costing the club money? He is justified is starting his clock everytime he gets another timewaster on the phoine or by e-mail. If you believe that that frigging picture is important that's fine but many people have spent time collecting or donating tickets to help keep the club trunnung. If i had thought it was just to fund stupid requests of the administrators time i wouldnt have bothered. My Fry doesnt care what his fees are charged for, he is a business afterall but perhaps the fans could use some common sense in what they are doing in making the club funds being wasted. Rant over i thank you -

Strange behaviour! i have wanted the Saints to survive and after the clubs excesses I could see the sense in trying to slash costs and trying what we did.At no time did I agree with NP being sacked as i believed he united the fan base.As soon as he was removed the fans who would have stayed behind NP and so swallowed RL's return were cut loose again.it was a bad decision but not as bad as welcoming in the Wilde bunch in the first place. -

Alan Ball, Lawrie, Hoddle,KK,Mark Wright even Mick Channon were seen as villains in my eyes when they upped sticks and left us. How dare they leave the greatest club on earth.Sadly as Ive grown older I have realised the stupidity of my blind faith. Once my loyalty has been scorned then i find it hard to forgive -

OSM why are you decrying a fellow supporter who only wants what he sees best for the club? You may arrogantly believe that your view is the only correct one, but there are always 2 sides to a story. -

Wes it is about time both sides of this debate accepted the balme is not down to ONE person. yes we got relegated and some of the blame is at his door but not all. You are in business, you should know that yuo make financial decisions on the situation there and then and knowing that your cash flow was going to drop like a stone is it time to splash the cash in a gamble? i wouldn't ,i would have taken the steps to secure the clubs future and still be strong enough to make a challenge. RL came back on invitation of the man the majority celebrated his arrival. (not me) His return was sparked by MW's concern that the club was spiralling out of financial control. It was a poisoned chalice and whilst RL could not stop the fall (who forsaw Barclays cutting their overdrat from an agreed 5m to 4m?) Stand back and look from the outside and look at it 2 managers 3 wins in 17 games or 4 wins in 17 games, neither would make you want to employ them. NP leaving may have ben a misytake but we wil never know if he would have done any better than we did. Lets all move on , none of the directors IMO have anything to be proud of and that goes back a long time IMO -

Surely the club should ask Forest to withdraw the invitiation on the grounds of health and safety. The club should realise that just RL's presence will be likely to cause health and safety issues to not only our fans but to their stewards and police.I do not condone any violence and have no major issues with RL except him making some terrible decisions, (this could be a major one as well).Being selfish i am concerned that crowd disturbances combined with last weeks invasion could cost the club dear. Frankly i dont worry if RL is there or not but I do see it it as insensitive to the fans mood and thoughts and may well cause conflict again amongst each other as well as perhaps hotheads trying to get at him. Time may prove that he has not been as bad as made out, but until he can provide the info i suggest he keeps away. -

On this i agree, RL should not go and I wonder what foolishness brings this on. It is only going to niggle fans, and until the truth of all the shenanigans of the past few seasons are known for sure they all should keep thier heads down.I am more understanding of RL's action in the past but on this occasion I have no understanding of what he is doing.i will have to listen to 90 minutes of anti Lowe bile on the radio during the game now. -

Im amazed that RL is going to Forest and think it is a very bad judgement. On the other habd for LC or any other director to criitcise is in insult as well. They all have been party to our downfall and so should keep quiet as well. Yes LC has put his hand in his pocket but is that through guilt? He was a king maker when Wilde first appeared, had he not jopined forces with him the rest would not have unravelled. All of them lock stock and barrel should stay away and also shut the F up -

FFS reading the last 2 pages makes me feel as though Im Jonathan King in his fantasy land. 16 and 17 year old boys....do I have to have a special Police check before going into the changing rooms!!!!!!! i think i might just get a conference call set up fed into the dressing room for the pre match chat. They'll be varuca plasters I'll have to put on for them , notes from mum why they can't run, little packed treats and Nesquick at half time. Phil, have we made a mistake or what! PS may I suggest that if you are going to look flash in brand new football boots, get them worn in because if you start hobbling off with blisters you will get slaughtered -
