i respect Leon Crouch a great deal but I expect it comes with watertight guarentees. He has lost enough he doesnt deserve to lose more.I hope he stays as a fan only Did anybody else thing the echo's picture make him look a bit smug?
  2. The concept is just to much for you to grasp.

Sorry ,but as grateful as i am I think he should not have a place at the clubs board .He is part of the old guard and all that has gone on.I dont think he would be able to work as part of a team as he would rightly wish to run things his way.A powerful personality becomes too overpowering IMO I expect there strings attatched to his loan ie guarentees.
  5. A lot of supporters alienated themselves IMO. You were gagging for us to go into administration telling us it was the promised land as we would be bought as we were such a bargain. It doesnt feel like that from where im sitting. it is foolish mindsets like that that has contributed to our demise.Add to that Rl MW LC abd all the others and you have the set.
  6. I only can tel you what I found out. The people were adamant that the wages gp out 4th thurs in the month and couldnt understand why the 3rd thurs has been stated!
  7. Claphams post earlier made me feel better. He was posting from the administrators point of view and he eased my concerns
  8. I dont know if it is possible but the players registrations may be able to be held or quickly sold before liquidation.Only a guess
  9. but can the administrator keep the p[layers registration? even shortterm as they are under contract. Therefore he would sell qucikly before we go into administration. The other thing I have gleaned is that the wages go out on the 4th thurs in the month and so why have we been told they go out this week????
  10. If somebody pays 6m+ for the stadium , Jacksons farm and our part of staplewood would add a bit more.Holding back and selling the players in a firesale would add more.it would soon get to far more.
  11. Perhaps, it is only when he is provoked that I believe he oges over the top.I have been the victim of it myself so i do know how he can act at time
  12. Perhaps they were at a good price to give some free publicity but alos showing advertisers how effective they are.
  13. I dont know if that is the case but if he is he certainly knows how to get under some peoples skin very easily. You watc hhim make a very fair assessment and loads pile in to have a go, wheras others say similar and it is left alone.
  14. Excuse me, Stanley and myself have a very friendly relationship IMO whilst me and Alpine have a good understanding, he is wrong and i am always right, it is only when he vies away from that track do we fall out. ps he is negative and if we had a poll it would pan out that way. Alps is ok anyway
  15. Lol, I know what you mean but he does put some good points across at times.I understand where you are personally coming from but for the average debate he adds some spice. We dont want to go too middle ground.I liked scooby anyway as he really knew how to turn thre knife and get people going. It was amusing seeing the bites
  16. why is he not allowed as he is perceived a RL sided poster and the really negative posters are given free reign. It is a forum for all opinions I thought. As long as he is not abusive let him speak
  17. Hi Phil I do hope your golf went well
  18. Well Fry at Barclays should be asked why he pulled the plug.Whilst their risks may have increased by letting us increase our overdraft a bit they may well now have a larger amount left in assets. Very few agree with me but it does not seem right the whole saga.
  19. Of course it is a nonstarter but I could live with it if Saints were no more.
  20. I dont think that is how you were putting it
  21. There are different classes of fans, the ones who can be bothered to go and the armchair ones.I am in the middle as I cant be arsed to put myself out to go to away games, you cant go to either due to geography.I feel for the fans at this time whose life is wrapped up in home and away and go all over the country to support us.
  22. That is a good way of putting it Mike, a play ground fued
  23. No I always thought it was down to success why people stayed away.I think the unrest also helped as the constant negativity made fans feel disallusioned. When was the last time fans really felt we were on the up? Only a few times in the last couple of decades, each and every time we were kicked in the teeth.Whether it be Alan Ball deserting us for Man c Hoddle to spurs WGS etc.Add to that the club selling our heroes and then not investing in quality. We have had a long run that has buffetted the fanbsae and now we have the precipice ahead
  24. I support Hampshire at cricket and have never had real hatred of Pompey. If there was no saints Id understand this in principle. I suggest there woud be real stick from both sides but the more braod minded fans from both areas would not worry, but there just wouldnt be enough of them.
