I think you have got the right format there Phil. It is the good cop bad cop thing. Phil the Mr Nice Guy who then does the silent assination by using any trick possible to get the result and Nick big mouth who rallies the team with banter team spirit and encouragement. It would be a good combination. You may have done the modest in victory but im afraid i dont think I did the gracious in defeat, Im looking forward to see how my post match interview comes across after the game. A little peeved at the ref /tactics used by my counterpart etc etc. not a sign of congratulation to the victors, just a solid defence of my team.

Yeah but it was the quality of the other knee that showed through. Only 32 Si I was cutting you a bit of slack as I thought you were an old boy!!!! lol.
-
at least he turned up.he would have paid as well.
-
My daughter was reading the programme and said 'surely you recognise him he sits right behind us' ....oooopa Sorry mate.I did recognise your family though wh oalso sit on the Northam

Scally you are right. I di think there is a big problem with credibility to some people. Fans (I admit i have been guilty of it myself) do not always believe in some peoples motives whether it be for politics or personal gain. Perhaps if the players made it clear whether they are to be paid or not would help.I understand as Robbie says there are costs incurred by people but the game is being sold on the fact that these people love the club.Well the people they are asking love the club as well and are paying for the privilage to turn up and also incurring travelling costs. I dont think there is a togetherness in this as we/I havbe become sceptical that it us that pays while others (rightly or wrongly) are lining their own pockets.Transparency would make a difference to peoples perception im sure.PS I do appreciate MO's time and effort in doing what he is.

I assume that their would have been strings attached to the loan and rightly so.As I put elsewhere my understanding is that the loan is an add on to any buyers offer.
-
Thats right you did tell me. So I d just like the home team to digest we had a keeper in midfield in the first half and 1 at centre back in the 2nd half. what a team to be able to do that.Makes our efforts even more admirable and add to that the Flying Finn recovering a cruciate injury
-
Id jump at it like a shot. What is your normal position then Lee I think you did tell me on the night but I had too much to think about to remember
-
Have a safe trip Phil, I hope there is hope in your heart not dejection. The ref was probably motioning to where to drop the envelope.Normally in the real games subs come on during a break in play. As fopr the shouting perhaps its because we are both quiet and not a lot to say characters that the players couldnt hear.I think anyone near to the managers would have heard me. Safe trip
-
Or Lee is in the middle of the shot
-
Lol.Yep, but only if MM bankrolls him like he did last season. It will be tougher next season for Leicester
-
Bloody hell I was shouting like mad.You did hear me when I called for you to take the D. I still cant believe we were robbed but we did have a great bunch of lads didnt we?
-
Yeah give him the freedom of the city.
-
Had i heard defeatist stuff before the match Id have nipped that in the bud.We were the mighty Flints and only underhand tactics were going to beat us......ohhhhhhhh Phil was a good man though, a really nice man.Congratulations to him and his squad of 19
-
But that starved the club of money they could have the tickets for.Surely the club comes first at this time.It is all conjecture at present of course.
-
It may be naive but I really believe MLT wouldnt charge.I do hope Im right on that.

Hypo, if MJ's contacts bid is acceptable and is the ONLY written 1 submitted so far it is rather foolish to be scornful. I understand his past indiscretions but beggars cant be choosers and we are so close to being finished, caput, extinquised, ended etc etc etc we should be encouraging not dismissive. Now IF it is all talk and bluster then he deserves everything thrown at him and he must understand like MW RL and Fred Godwin he weill not be comfortably walking the streets ever again if the club folds due to his messing about. As I know there are a couple of posters on here who are respected who are also in the group I would be a little more relaxed.Therer again they could also be duped I suppose but I know 1 is vey pro active (not Weston althogh he does have his hand on the pulse and should be shown respect of his judgementr)
-
I wasn't invited to that!!
-
I did think it was a tenuous link but considering that as a bentley was seen on the M3 lol that Ken Bates wasc buying the club, seeing Pearce in Salisbury could make a debate. The forum is for talk rumour and loads of rubbish.Get over it Steeleye
-
I was told that the 'loan' was thrown into the pot last week and mentioned to buyers/bidders it had to be added on to their offer.
-
Is this definitely right?
-
I dont think the fans have a connection with the players/club at present.I also believe their is a lot of complacency as a poster has posted earlier. We have heard it all before with clubs just about to go extinct ans osmebody takes over last minute..ie Coventry
-
Iam disapppointed he was on so much considering the state of the clubs finances. The pay off I have no issue with, the Wilde bunch and fans wanted him gone and he got his rightful severence pay.
-
That comment is most appreciated Hamster and if I did add something to the evening Im very pleased.I really was sincere when i said i was proud of 'my team' and although I didnt get to speak to all your lot (trying to get a word in with FOS around is tricky)they seemed a great bunch as well. May it happen again.

http://www.pinnacleproperty.net/contact.htm I think when it was first put up there was a spelling mistake that then was quickly corrected. All done in a rush and I cant see quite why
