I'm always surprised when I tell people that he is the all time top scoring CB that they didn't know. He's one of the all time best elite libero CB's and is one of the best free kick takers as well. Part of Johan Cruyff's Barcelona dream team as well.

No I really don't think so. City are in bad form atm but it will take us winning most of our remaining games which I just can't see happening. 5th would still be an amazing feat. I still think top 7 is where we are aiming but the chasing pack are not far behind at all. If it were to happen, it would be THE best season the top flight has ever seen ever.

We only played 4 at the back against Arsenal and that was our worst game in this run. I think it's down to both. Players getting used to the formation AND Forster coming back. You can hear him yelling at the defence the whole game. He keeps them very organised.

It's just my opinion but quoting that site is laughable. They haven't the foggiest tbh. Some of their ratings are hilarious. Didn't they have Lovren as one of the best last season when liverpool fans couldn't wait for him to get an injury?

He was good today. He has a very good work rate and his cross was excellent. I did say in another thread that he's underrated as he's constantly getting slated. Needlessly as well. He's a young player maturing well into a top half Premier League side.

They had two. Both very forgettable.

This game was tailor made for Mane but unfortunately his form didn't warrant a place on the pitch. Team still isn't picking itself, which is a great sign.

As much as I love VVD, I'd rather have Toby. He's been the best CB in the whole league so far this season.
