Yeah but then again, only 6 of his 50 have been pens......... Shaw and Smalling were excellent and I thought we looked decent in the second half. If we weren't carrying the abysmal Sterling, Barkley and Chaimberlan we'd have scored a couple more. Milner done very well in the middle and Shelvey had a decent second half. All in all a promising and professional performance.

Wasn't sure where to put this so if it needs moving.......... Congratulations to Wayne Rooney for breaking the goal scoring record. People will ***** and moan about him and i'll admit i'm not a big Rooney fan but the record speaks for itself and it's a great achievement. 107 appearances with 50 goals. The nation should get behind him for the Euro's rather than pulling apart his record!!

For me, Lineker and Greaves are a cut above anyone else to wear the shirt. Greaves' record for England was outstanding and Lineker was a proper tournament player. Won a golden boot in 86 and was runner up in the ballon d'or that year. Rooney has been utter ****e for England for a number of years now and i'm fed up of us building our attack around such a static, predictable striker. His record has been padded out. Look at the teams he has scored his goals against. Don't think he's scored once against the likes of Italy, France, Germany or Spain. Don't get me wrong, he's a good player and he scores goals but talks of him being an England great wind me up tbh. Some proper top class, world class players have played up top for England. Players that Rooney isn't fit to lace the boots of! Rant over

His play switches aren't just nice to watch, they hugely relieve the pressure on our midfield. He's a very tidy player and atm he's giving Koeman a hard decision to make as Classie isn't far away from a return.

Our players man mark (as opposed to zonal) so the extra players just pick up a space Inbetween. See Pellè the other day. Cleared it but wasn't actually marking anyone. We have enough pace in Manè, Jay, Tadic etc to launch a counter. It's like a man mark zonal mark hybrid.

Pretty clear to me. Annoys me how we continue to strengthen our rivals but that's football sadly. We can't compete with the mental wages the bigger clubs are willing to pay unless some Arab prince buys us. Wanyama seems to have acted with complete discontent for the club and he's gone the same way as many others. We've sold too many players over the past few years but it's difficult to keep hold of them when they refuse to play or force a move. One things for sure though, he will need replacing asap! Shame as he was looking top drawer this season.

There's a reason why he's been left out of our squad. People can bury their heads in the sand all they like. The fact of the matter is, he clearly wants to leave the club. If he's being left out because of an impending deal, then fair enough but if he's pulled himself out to force a move then he's an utter ******.

That was as bad as I've seen us under Koeman. Truly awful all over the pitch. Target in particular was bad. I'm not one to dwel on the negatives but I've never seen a saints team move the ball so slowly. Utter ****.

Couple of weeks ago people were saying that if we got Classie and VVD they'd be very happy but now because of a few poor performances after he pretty much knows he's leaving you aren't sure? Jesus

Never understood where all this rubbish about Chambers not having the pace to play full back. Ok he's not a quick as Clyne but he's no slouch. CB's come of age later so hopefully it pays off for him but for me he hasn't yet mastered the positional discipline to play CB and I really don't think he's going to play enough games at Arsenal to develop very quickly.

Imo Shaw will be a class act this season. He's already looked the business. Last season he was fat and then struggled with injuries. This season he's the #1 LB for a top 4 club. He'll come on leaps and bounds. Lallana truth be told wasn't really good enough. He was very good for us for a season or two but was given MUCH more freedom with us. He's not getting the same freedom to roam at Liverpool and now they have two players better than him in his position. Un ****ing lucky Adam.
