  1. He barely got a chance at Liverpool. He'd get a lot more football with us especially as we're in Europe as well. He would've been a great addition.
  2. Rickie did look tired at times in his last season with us but he'd be a great player to have back as back up to Pelle! Just imagine the reception he'd get! I can dream
  3. Oh ok mate. I haven't been following the thread tbh.
  4. I really wish they'd stop trying to talk over each other!!
  5. This is how the seeding stands at the minute in terms of teams with a higher coefficients than the two English clubs. Borussia Dortmund (GER) 99.883 FC Rubin Kazan (RUS) 57.099 Athletic Club (ESP) 56.999 FC København (DEN) 40.960 PAOK FC (GRE) 40.880 Trabzonspor AS (TUR) 36.520 R. Standard de Liège (BEL) 25.440 Legia Warszawa (POL) 24.800 FC Girondins de Bordeaux (FRA) 24.483 UC Sampdoria (ITA) 18.102 Vitória SC (POR) 17.776 AS Saint-Étienne (FRA) 16.983 FC Zürich (SUI) 16.875 FC Slovan Liberec (CZE) 16.325 Southampton West Ham You then have the following with a higher coefficient in the Champions League 3rd qualifying round: Salzburg Celtic Steaua Bucharest Basel v Lech Poznan Ajax CSKA Moscow v Sparta Prague APOEL Maccabi Tel Aviv v Viktoria Plzen Fenerbache v Shakhtar Donetsk Panathinaikos v Club Brugge Young Boys v Monaco Bate Borisov Dinamo Zagreb. 22 teams will be seeded in the playoff round. Southampton and West Ham are currently 15 and 16th seeds. There are five games in the Champions League which guarantee a higher seeded team drops in to the Europa League. Leaving Southampton and West Ham 21st and 22nd seeds going in to the playoff round. Any upsets push it one way or the other. We need the Europa League qualifiers with a higher seeding to go out and the Champions League qualifiers to stay in the Champions League. Sampdoria look a definite heading out which helps both English clubs in the playoff round.
  6. Brian Mcdermott was at the game apparently. Probably watching Wanyama or Mane. ****** picked a good game!
  7. So, any ideas on this mystery player?
  8. Really really proud of what we've achieved over the last 6 years. I can't believe it really. We looked a bit jaded in the second half but our players are still getting up to speed. J rod will hopefully be unleashed on them next week as well. Just to add, Wanyama was unbelievable today. My MOTM by a mile.
  9. Shift worker.
  10. Is this actually on bt sports 1?
  11. http://cricfree.sx/bt-sport-1-live-stream-1 This is a stream for BT sports 1.
  12. I personally don't give a toss what he thinks or says about us tbh. He was a very good manager for us and i'll always remember what he did Whilst here but he chose to jump to a bigger club. He'll reap what he sows in the end because at the end of the day, Levy expects a top 4 challenge but imo, Spurs are still far behind last seasons top four so he, like many before him will be deemed as a failure in the end.
  13. I personally think that Caulker will be better than Yoshida.
  14. I'm happy with this signing, he's a decent player and now he'll be joining a stable club rather than one which is going to get exposed at the back and be fighting off relegation. We'll now see what sort of cb he can become.
  15. A lot of people seem to be overrating Toby on here. Now don't get me wrong, he was great for us and may go on to be even better as he gets older but styles make players. I think he fitted our style perfectly and had the perfect partner so he flourished in that set up. IMO VVD is a similar type of cb to Toby. Likes to play it out a bit, has a bit of skill about him etc so I think our set up plays to his strengths and that it will get the best out of him. Just because he isn't playing for Atletico Madrid in a cl final doesn't mean hes ****.
  16. It's the best thing for him in all honesty. I think there is a very good player in there somewhere and he was coming along well until the untimely death of his father. Must've been such a big ordeal for a young boy to go through. Hopefully now he's back to full fitness he goes out and bangs in a load of goals to reinvigorate himself. The experience will do him the world of good!
  17. Wouldn't want Shawcross anyway. I don't think he'd compliment Fonte very well. Van Dijk would be a much better option imo. On another note, we do seem to like a knee injury or 10. That's Rodriguez, Forster, Gardos and Bertrand off the top of my head in recent times.
  18. Thought this was on TV?
  19. He looked fine to me and genuinely looks like he's enjoying being back on the pitch again!
  20. I genuinely believe there are very good players in Elia and Ramirez. I was so excited when we got Gaston as I'd seen a bit of him before he joined but he's been hugely disappointing. I'm not against giving them one more chance but for Gaston it really is his last chance.
  21. All my mates are going but I can't get off work gutted. So hope we qualify.
  22. The point was how players from the spl fair in the pl not the championship. MLG was just being his usual pedantic self.
