Monreal has been great so far this season imo.

No, his hold up play was outstanding today. Given Vvd my vote because he was just brilliant. Had Fletcher (who btw is a beast in the air) in his pocket the whole game. Only let him out to be substituted. He looks a really good buy. Don't think anyone had a bad game. Also thought the pen was a bit soft but i'll take that!!

I think Koeman has managed him superbly well. You could see that he had the tools to be good but Koeman has given him time to settle and at the same time shown him that the team can function without him so he needs to be at his best. He's now settling nicely and imo he'll keep improving.

The mane trip was a stonewall penalty. Okay he shouldn't have thrown his arms about but it was a blatant trip and a blatant pen. Then to add insult to injury, he books mane for diving when he has his legs completely wiped out from underneath him. Also, the Vvd incident was also a stonewall pen. The only thing the ref got right was the Falcao dive which tbh I was surprised he didn't give.
