One DM can work but you usually need a workhorse or two in front of him. Arsenal do it but they have Cazorla (who's a fantastic player) in front with someone else like Ramsey. They cover so much ground between them. Coquelin just sits in front of the back four and intercepts what he can. You need a highly drilled pressing front unit to pull it off which Arsenal have. IMO we'd get battered if we tried that atm.

He's far too limited a player to ever be considered world class. There'll never be a midfielder that's considered one of the best in the world if they consistently lose concentration, lose their man and/or can't pass for ****. Don't get me wrong, he can be class but he needs a runner next to him as he's lazy.

I think Cedric is a good player so i've no idea why Yoshida keeps getting game time at RB. It's starting to **** me off and every single pl manager knows to target him, so why play him there? If Koeman thinks that Cedric and Martina are worse than Yoshi at RB then we need a new one asap!

I'm not going to moan too much as I expected a loss but i'm getting sick and ****ing tired of Koeman setting us up to defend. Every time we do it, we concede. I'm also getting sick and tired of seeing Yoshida playing at RB. really sick of it. How many times have we said that a team was there for the taking and we've not won? Well City really were there for the taking.

I agree mate. We were awful back then and even up until Pardew came in really I can always remember us conceding late goals! It's just annoying nowadays as we really shoot ourselves in the foot. We have a quality defence and when we press from the front and knock it about the opposition struggle to get the ball but for some reason now, we score, then sit back and invite the pressure. It's infuriating!

It is annoying how we seem to be much better at conceding late on rather than scoring.

Our young English players under Poch were mostly already in and around the first team but like I've said, he stuck with them and brought them on a bit. The youngest team in the league that year was us and spurs I believe.

Yeah but he stuck with them and aided there development. I know he's universally hated by our fans but nobody can deny the fact that he has a good pedigree at spotting young talent and blooding them into the first team. He's did it with Espanyol, us and now he's doing it at Spurs.
