There's two sides to this. Yes we look weak without him but imho he's stepped down a notch this season. Morgan covered so much ground and did that sort of thing for Wanyama. Classie as good as he looks isn't on that level yet and Wanyama is putting to much pressure on him. CM is the most important part of our system. They need to be solid and cover a lot of ground. They are vital and decide how our defence AND attack react. Since Morgan left I thought he'd step up and become the main man but instead he's done the opposite and looks really disinterested. He is becoming a bit of a scapegoat in fairness but that's his own doing. We can sometimes get away with carrying a player who's having a bad game but NOT in DM.

Thank **** Wanyama is out for a game. He's been dreadful this season. Today he was as bad as I've ever seen him.

Well that was exactly what we needed. We have been lacking in intensity for a 90 minute period for some time now but that was as good as i've seen us play over 90 minutes since the Chelsea game. Wanyama and Classie were excellent in midfield and in our system that is the most important part of our game. It gave us a solid platform to build from and allowed Long to make some decent runs as we were winning the ball a lot higher up the pitch than in recent games. Big shout out to Martina. Had a solid game and scored an absolute wonder goal. The curl he got on that strike was just unreal and that first goal took a lot of pressure off the rest of the team. Lets hope this gives us the confidence to beat a very good West Ham side now.

To the op. This ban has nothing to do with the russia and Qatar World Cup bids. It's a separate payment to do with a tournament that has already passed. Hopefully though this paves the way and has a domino affect. I can't tell you how happy I am that Blatter has gone but transparency is needed if FIFA is to become corruption free. Well that's a bit of a shame really as I honestly think he would've suited us down to the ground but I can understand the clubs stance on wages. That's a big wage for a club our size.

Yeah he done well. That will do his confidence the world of good! The only criticism is he needs to marshal his defence more but fair play to him, he's come on leaps and bounds since Adkins was starting him!

We were very sloppy at times today. Gave the ball away, didn't track runners, didn't tackle and with some poor defending but we did play some good stuff. We're not far away. Just need to dominate the midfield more like we used to and give ourselves a platform to build on.

We need a midfielder. Funnily enough, a deep lying playmaker like Cabaye would've been brilliant.

Since returning to the premier league we've been ahead of those clubs and Stoke have been here for years. Why the **** does everyone expect us to finish better every season?
