  1. Yes let's sell our top scorer and rely on a striker who spontaneously combusts when he touches grass, and another who only turns up against Birmingham.... That would be a stupid move and short sighted. Sensible option would be try and loan in Piroe, scores goals at this level. Either that or put in a cheeky one for Sargent or Selech
  2. Let's be realistic we're not going to go up this season. For me it's last chance saloon, Use this window to try and shift the likes of Aribo Then summer we will need a proper full rebuild, no cutting corners Experienced manager at whatever level we are at with coaching staff Sell Stephens, Bellis, Downes, Manning. The apparent toxic circle. It's time to clear the decks and bring In payers with stronger mentalities.
  3. 0-2 Sheff United, Bamford scoring
  4. I’ve never felt so disillusioned and detached from Southampton FC. I’ve followed the club since I was 8, and now, at 40, the current squad, management, ownership just doesn’t inspire me. When Sports Republic took over, I was optimistic. I was excited. I thought, happy days, they’ll stabilise the club, we’ll be a solid mid-table Premier League team, maybe even an occasional cup run. Now I just sit and stare at our decline, wondering how the hell it all went so wrong. The definition of insanity is Sports Republic, insisting on being too clever with managerial appointments, player acquisitions, and poor decision-making. It’s cost us dearly. Repeated poor decision-making, reactive rather than proactive leadership, and a complete failure to communicate with the fans who are owed clarity about the club’s vision and leadership. Rumours of a toxic atmosphere at the club, cliques throwing managers under buses, showing up only when it suits them. I’m sorry, but if we actually had leadership, experienced coaches, directors, management, this wouldn’t happen. They’d set the standards and tell players: either show up or shut up. Now I actually feel sorry for Tonda. I’m confused how the team can so quickly revert to this possession-at-the-back nonsense. When Tonda was interim, we were flying ,quick transitions, forward-thinking passes from defence to attack. Now it’s stifled. Five at the back again, players out of position, traditional fullbacks on the bench… the fans know it’s pointless and it doesn’t work, Hints of Rasmus meddling in the background? How is he allowed to continue to do this? Can't Dragan see he is taking him to the cleaners ? I thought Dragan was an esteemed businessman. Surely he can see the football side of Southampton FC isn’t up to scratch? What’s it going to take for him to wake up — League One, League Two? More millions flushed down the drain? So what’s the solution? Do we keep circling the drain toward League One, or do we finally say enough is enough. We bring in someone capable — experienced at this level, who builds their own team, sets the football philosophy and tactics without interference, works with the director of football, targets the right players, and strengthens the squad. With the intention of rebuilding a strong spine and ethos in the team. This would include selling and removing all the Martin players Stephens, Bellis, Aribo, Manning, Downes, Wood. Are not up it they have weak mentalities are not real leaders and are actually a common variable of our demise. We need a stronger non nonsense manager someone in the mould of Warnock who knows the League, doesn't take any nonsense and can give the grifters a kick up the ass. Or do Sports Republic finally pull the plug and sell? Considering the money spent and the pedigree of our squad , I’m not saying it’s perfect, it still needs work but being 15th in the Championship? That’s fucking embarrassing. Gutting for us fans. Enough is enough. Where is the heart, bollocks, passion......
  5. Yousuf Salech or Piroe Get it done
  6. You don’t need an analyst to tell you we’re dogshit, What is it with modern football. A bunch of dweebs sat busting nuts over xG and spreadsheets while the game dies in front of them. What’s next. Some suit after the game saying “Well we’d have won today if the symmetry of the blades of grass was correct.” Why do people overcomplicate football. Set the team up properly. Put players in their best positions. Try to score more than the opposition. No trying to be clever. No wonky passing it back. None of this wannabe Man City bollocks. Anyway, I digress. What I can’t get my head around is this. We appoint Tonda and we’re flying. The football is quick, direct, players look up for it. So how the hell have we regressed so quickly? Is it the players thinking “Right, we’ve done our bit, let’s take it easy now.” Or is it someone above Tonda saying “Whoa, slow it down. We’re winning games here. Can’t have that. Five at the back from now on and tone your input down.” Or did Tonda just get lucky. Was it a fluke? Some of the recent decisions look a bit odd, but then I watched the Hull highlights and we had plenty of chances. On another day, with better finishing, we could’ve won that. Are we overreacting?
  7. Scienza, Robinson, Charles, Jander, Fellows. Quarshie. Armstrong The rest I couldn't give two shits about. Massive overhaul needed including Manager, Coaching Setup even the fucking Ownership needs to go 🤣
  8. Fuck him off and bring back Ralph.
  9. Sports Republic, enough is enough Either appoint a manager that is experienced at this level and get some competent coaches. Or sell up and fuck off!
  10. Would be daft and short sighted to sell Armstrong. Ross Stewart is allergic to football and Archer can't hit a cows arse....
  11. Piroe, Salech, Igor Matanović One of them wil do Come on Spors stop fucking about and get someone in.
  12. I was looking at him on my champ manager game looks decent for the price haha 😄
  13. Yeah that was me I mentioned Jatta, I sent the a.i scouts to find Rickie Lambert type lads and this was one of the recommendations.
  14. Fucking hell! We are getting rid of weetabix wrists what's going on? Sports Republic finally realised he is shite? We have been saying this for 3 seasons...... 🤣
  15. Mid table, you would really want us to be promoted ? 🤣 would be embarrassing getting the shit kicked outta us... Mass changes to infrastructure next season, last chance saloon either that or sell up and get some competent owners who understand the concept of instilling a experienced team and manager...... Had enough of the shit show that is Sports Republic
  16. I agree with Turkish we need to move on from signing former players, Alot of people romanticise about a second coming but it never works out....
  17. Lad at Notts County Alassana Jatta 6.4 26 years old 58 games / 32 goals Got to be worth a look......
  18. Okay chaps I told the A.I bollocks to find us a specific striker in the mould of Rickie Lambert, I.e someone from the lower leagues who could come in and do the job. I wanted good aerial and hold up skills and experience of scoring goals. Alasanna Jatta - Notts County, 58 games / 32 goals 6.4 I height, German. Lorent Tolaj - Plymouth ( 11 goals ) Isac Lidberg - Darmstadt 98 ( 16 games 11 goals ) ( Role: Centre-forward & main attacking outlet. Profile: Strong, physical striker comfortable with aerial duels and hold-up play. Frequently wins headers and is used as a focal point in attack. Scoring: Among the 2. Bundesliga’s top scorers this season (double-digit goals). Why he fits: Classic target-man mould — holds the ball, good in the air, and consistently finds the net at this level. ) Noel Futkeu - Greuther Furth 23 years old, Role: Main striker with physical edge. Attributes: Tall, strong in aerial challenges, and excellent at scoring from crosses/centering moves. Why he fits: Combines height + aerial prowess + consistent goals — very Lambert-like in style. Massimo Coda (Sampdoria) Profile: Classic target man — tall, strong, and often a team’s outlet for long balls and headers. Goals: Regularly among the top scorers in Serie B. Why he fits: Physical presence + aerial threat + goals. Any of the above stand out of could do a job ? Should all be realistic
  19. Ross Stewart is not the answer to our striker issue! He is allergic to grass.
  20. £120 are they taking the piss ? I've seen it all now 🤣🤣🤣 They really don't have a clue do they.
  21. Everyone keeps banging on about getting a new striker. Who would you bring in ? I'd try and loan Piroe
  22. Well if are not going to bring in a replacement for Downs, what's the harm in given Oyekulne some games, if we think promotion is unrealistic what's the harm in bedding him in seeing what he is capable of?
  23. Got more change of appointing Frank Butcher 🤣
  24. Well the players who are being disruptive need a reality check, they are not as good as they think they are... Bunch of bottle jobs That's why we need to tell Rasmus to jog on and get experienced manager who is capable of giving out a bollocking and setting the standards once in a while.....
  25. I’ve supported Saints since I was 8. I’m 40 now, and I’ve never felt so detached from the club or the players. Like many, I didn’t expect huge things when Sport Republic took over. I just wanted the basics. Stay in the Premier League. Compete. And maybe enjoy the odd decent cup run along the way. How has it gone so terribly wrong? A succession of poor decisions, weak appointments, and a complete lack of transparency with the fans. We all have our theories about the strings being pulled by Rasmus. Something clearly isn’t adding up, and this constant insistence on five at the back only deepens the suspicion What’s it going to take for Dragan to wake up and realise this man is a charlatan who is slowly killing our club? I thought Dragan was a successful businessman. Because right now, it’s baffling how he hasn’t worked out that Rasmus is taking him to the cleaners.. The best thing he can do now is simple. Tell Rasmus to take a complete back seat. Appoint an experienced manager and coaching staff. Rip up this five-at-the-back nonsense. Let the manager or director of football set the philosophy and the style with no Rasmus, no extra interference, full stop. What’s the alternative? Dragan keeps hiring inexperienced yes-men, so they can be micromanaged by the great Rasmus… And we end up in the Conference. 🤣 Definition of insanity: Sport Republic. Same mistakes. Same people. Same excuses. Time is running out Dragan, wake up and smell the roses, fans won't tolerate this shit show for much longer..........
