The window’s been pretty lackluster so far. It’s clear they’re struggling to manoeuvre with such a bloated squad. Which is understandable, no point bringing in more additions while we’re still stuck with deadwood we can’t shift. The interest in Fernandes and Dibling makes the decision tougher do we stick with both, sell both, or just keep one? If selling one opens the door to bringing in a winger or two so Still can fully implement his style, would that be the right call? As for the whole Spertsyan saga, just put the offer on the table and move on to other targets, we can’t afford to sit around waiting for his head to be turned by bigger clubs. Something about this whole affair screams Gakpo, dragging on until someone bigger swoops in. It’d be nice to finally land a marquee signing.
