The United Kingdom comes in tenth. When we started sending people to the other side of the world, it was supposed to be a punishment, they weren't supposed to end up being happier than us. Anyway, English-speaking former colonies and Nordic countries seem to be the best places to live.

Anyone inspired to emigrate?

Australia is great but not the fairy tale they would have you believe, unless you have millions forget Sydney, suburbs miles out yes but you are miles out, everything now is very very very expensive and its not really level with the wages but outside of state capitals you can live a great cheap life, if a tad boring.

Surely they have the internet over there? How can it be boring, you can just endlessly post on forums, troll and have multiple usernames.

Imagine how high up the list we'd be if it weren't for the Muslims threatening our very existence.

Trust me, if you like TV, sausages and beer, Australia is a ****ing travesty.

but when you're still in your winter clothes at the end of May in Europe it's not such a bad place after all. My Dad used to spend nearly all of his winters there after he retired. Mum hated it though, too hot and too much riff-raff
