A Few Season Ticket Questions.

I've never had a Season Ticket before and therefore I am completely clueless. Definitely going to get one this year, but I got a few questions about them, which will make me sound like a complete div, but I thought it might be an idea to ask them here.

- Do I buy them at the Ticket Office? (When they are finally released) Or if not how do I get them?

- Do I have to get there early on the release day to get them where I want? In other words, how quickly do they all sell?

- What happens if I can't make a game? Can someone else use my ticket?

- Do I get preference on away/cup games as a Season Ticket holder?

- Do I have to wait until existing ST holders renew before I can buy mine?

- What is this 'early bird' thingy?

Sorry to be so  but any help would be appreciated.

Cheers.

You can do, or you can pay over the phone aswell.

No you don't have to get in early. As long as you are within the "selling period" you'll get one. They wont "sell out" and they'll sell as many as they can.

Yep that's not a problem. I'd say, judging by your name that you're a "teen" so you'd be best off not giving it to someone who is clearly an adult (although they're not strict on it)

- Do I get preference on away/cup games as a Season Ticket holder?

Yes. All cup games and away games go on sale to ST holders first.

- Do I have to wait until existing ST holders renew before I can buy mine?

I would of thought som yes. But the "ST renewal" stage wont last long seeing as we don't have much time to sell compared to usual.

The early bird thing is tied in with the ST renewals, where if people already have a ST then they can buy for cheaper well in advance.

- Do I have to get there early on the release day to get them where I want? In other words, how quickly do they all sell? We have a 32K stadium and sold about 9K Season tickets last year so actually getting one won't be a problem, unless we sign Beckham or Le Tiss comes out of retirement!

- What happens if I can't make a game? Can someone else use my ticket? Yes

- Do I get preference on away/cup games as a Season Ticket holder? Yes

- Do I have to wait until existing ST holders renew before I can buy mine? Yes

- What is this 'early bird' thingy? In the past they have offered a better price for early purchase i.e. in March, however this year is different as no prices have been issued.

Good on you for committing to a ST when we are at our lowest league position in your lifetime.

No time for early bird this year. My guess they will all go on sale at the same time (next Monday, hopefully) and newbies will only be able to buy non-existent ST seats. Presumably the Itchen North corner will reopen, so people forced to move last season will get first dibs of those seats?

Seems a bit harsh. Do you have to bring your own seat in these instances?

Why would they want to do that? its not as though they are going to sell enough tickets that they are going to need those seats, I would imagine it will stay closed.

Because I'm presuming, there is no longer a need for the stringent cost-cutting measures of last season and the new owners might just want to re-invigorate the atmosphere within the stadium?
