Mouldy Coat Posted 20 June, 2009 Share Posted 20 June, 2009 why bother? The 10 point deduction is based on ethical grounds not legal grounds, we will not win. It will be a painful battle
brightspark Posted 20 June, 2009 Share Posted 20 June, 2009 "SACK MAWHINNEY" I am sure he is really bothered So whoever Mawhinney's boss is (if he has one) will read it and think... "blimey, never thought of doing that before... what a good idea!"

VectisSaint Posted 20 June, 2009 Share Posted 20 June, 2009 There are some short-sighted (but maybe well meaning) idiots around, who can potentially do harm to the deal because they don't necessarily know what they are talking about. A protest today against the FL, when we don't even know for sure that the FL are the (only) problem. Beggars belief, I wonder if these are the same people who were planning to protest against the FA or to go to the HQ of the FL in London. And to those that think that the FL don't care aout Southampton. You are probably right. Don't forget we are one of the newest members of the Football League, and were one of the 20 founding members of the FA Premier League, who effectively consigned the FL to be a second-class organisation for the remainder of their existence having previously been the organisers of the top football competitioin in the world for over 100 years. Sour grapes, you bet.
Snowballs2 Posted 20 June, 2009 Share Posted 20 June, 2009 One could argue that Pinacle could sue under the "unfair contract" terms or restrictive trading laws
Weston Saint Posted 20 June, 2009 Share Posted 20 June, 2009 How can anyone on here protest to the FL when they do not know what they are protesting against? "Pinnacle" have not said what the problem is. Fry has not said what the problem is. The FL have not said what the problem is. Hold the protests until there is an official statement. Until then it is all speculation
Saint in Paradise Posted 20 June, 2009 Share Posted 20 June, 2009 IMHO it's too late for people to hold back now, so much frustration over the last few weeks or so mean people just want to hit out at something. Hence my e-mail to the F.L. quoted in another thread somewhere or other, there are so many
