We need to raise the volume

Well done to all those who sing their hearts out for the team week in week out but it does lack something that is always present at away games, Carlisle, Hartlepool and Orient come to mind. I'm sure that with increased ticket sales that the volume will increase. It doesn't help with the itchen being moved over and losing two blocks but i'm sure that in time this will change. There are a few other factors which don't help like the slow start to games, yesterday being a perfect example, but that shouldn't matter at all. I really enjoy a good 'clap clap red army' for about 20 minutes and I'd love that to happen again soon. No one person can make this change but us as a whole can raise the volume right up to eleven. Just one extra request, if you are buying on the day, get a ticket in the northam/kingsland corner

I don't think any part of the ground has replaced the itchen north. I'm sure that when the stadium is getting higher gates then they will open it again. Its probably got something to do with reducing issues while they have the chance of having opposing fans as far away from each other as possible which of course they can do at the moment

I thought a couple of times yesterday in the second half the singing was louder than it has been for a while at home. I loved the 'Oh When The Saints' being sang slow, just for a change people kept it slow long enough for a lot more people to join in than usual, really sounded impressive.

That came across well good at one point.

Being sat in Kingsland 34 there usually aren't a lot singing, but that one got quite a few people involved, all in tune and the atmosphere there felt awesome.

I like noise. The ref made the first half bearable yestersay by being an utter draper, the noise levels were cranked up nicely.

I like noise too, lots of it, that's why I stand in block 42, but it would just be nice for us to not have to up the tempo of every song to a ridiculous standard!

The ref was a complete dinlo, the atmosphere got a lot better after our first.

The players began to respond as we got on the ref's case. Up until that point there was a very earie feeling to the match - sun setting, people hung-over from work party Friday, Tranmere time-wasting, cheap/free kids game etc etc.

Agreed and it's been like that the last few home games. Have to agree with RedAndWhite91 when he makes his point about all of the songs being sung too fast; it doesn't give the song a chance to go on for more than one verse and consequently stops more people from being able to pick it up and join in.

The slow Oh When the Saints is the most atmospheric song we have, and when kept slow sounds brilliant and no doubt intimidating. How about this for an idea- we all know at Liverpool they play 'You'll Never Walk Alone' over the PA system before the game and the crowd join in- could we ask SFC to play a slow version of owts over the PA system as the players are coming out/lining up to shake hands and all join in with this? I think it would be excellent personally.

Come on over to block 30 then, plenty of singing there.

The ref and linesman were spanners on Saturday and got very little right, how they didn't spot the handball outside and then later the player dragging back Hammond in the box in the second half is beyond me. Thought Pardews comment about the ref telling him he had got the rules wrong about the handball caution, was quite funny.

Papa was offside, but the linesman didn't flag him until after the Tranmere player had miskicked the ball in his direction, so play should have continued, as Papa didn't interfere with play whilst offside.

Given how high a line Tranmere were playing I was quite surprised Pardew didn't get Antonio to stand on the half way line, so that once we were back in possession we had an instant outlet and we could of been more dangerous on the counter.
