saintbletch Posted 5 February, 2010 Share Posted 5 February, 2010 My 3 tickets for Exeter haven't arrived yet. I'm going to be out all day today so I won't know if they arrive in today's post until this evening when it might be too late. I was told that they were going to be posted on Tuesday evening so I'm starting to get a bit worried. I'm going to email the club and will try to call them but I imagine they'll be knee-deep in requests for Pompey tickets. Does anyone know if the club has a procedure for this eventuality? Can they re-issue new tickets for an away game with limited allocation? Any advice gratefully received.

Just let me know where you live mate and leave a door key under a flowerpot and I'll pop round to check if your tickets have arrived.
bungle Posted 5 February, 2010 Share Posted 5 February, 2010 Phone up the club ticket office (not the buying number) information line and speak to someone there and explain the situation. Usually you are able to pick up duplicate tickets at the ground.

Out tickets didn't turn up so I phoned the club the morning of the match and they faxed our details to the Brentford ticket office.

The Cat Posted 5 February, 2010 Share Posted 5 February, 2010 My ticket hasn't arrived either. I rang up yesterday and was told to call back today if still hasn't come and they'll arrange for it to be picked up from Exeter's ticket office before the game. I suppose everyone is hitting the phones for Pompey tickets and I no longer even get placed in a queue. Just told to try later and the line goes dead. saintbletch Posted 5 February, 2010 Author Share Posted 5 February, 2010 0845 6889288 Are you dialling that number and pressing 9 for an operator? I just did and it rang. The main number rings. Then I press 9 and a male voice tells me that all operators are busy and that I should try again later and I'm disconnected. Occasionally it rings for 20 seconds and then the same message and disconnection. As I say I'm not surprised at the demand. My mate is going to have to take up the reigns now, I've got to leave the house (Key's under the flower pot Block 5). Thanks for the advice I'm sure we'll get the tickets somehow. Littlelat17 Posted 5 February, 2010 Share Posted 5 February, 2010 Interesting 'how tickets haven't arrived' Ive always ordered by email/fax or online so prefer mine to be sent in the post, to save queueing on the day. I normally receive them the next day or at worst within 2 working days. I ordered 2 MK Dons tickets for Tuesday and after a week of them not turning up, I checked my online account history to make sure they had been processed - which they had. I then emailed the club and they said they were sent out on the Friday, but If I hadnt received them by the game then do go to the ticket office and they would do me reprints. 15 days since ordering - they still havent turned up. Now I know I can get two reprints.. but my concern is what has happened to them, strong possibilty that sorting office have seen them and will use them to get in next Tuesday. Luckily my Pompey ticket arrived the day after I bought it!

Luckily as able to get down to ticket office with a print of my order and they printed off duplicates. Should be interesting if someone else is in my seats next week! Luckily my Pompey ticket arrived the day after I bought it! Don't worry! My Huddersfield tickets STILL haven't arrived (several weeks after the match was supposed to be played). I have made Avril in the T/O aware and she has advised me the same (although I have to pick them up before the rearranged game because they won't send them out a second time). saintbletch Posted 5 February, 2010 Author Share Posted 5 February, 2010 Well, it turns out our tickets were sent to my mate's address - despite the fact that I wrote the application letter, it was my cheque and my address on it. All's well that ends well. FAO Block 5 and Lets B Avenue, if you're going to break in to my house and make yourself a cup of tea please put the milk back in the fridge. Oh and for reference the downstairs toilet flush is handily placed on the right-hand side of the cistern and one of you needs less iron in their diet. See you in Exeter! COYR.
