Saint Fan CaM Posted 29 June, 2010 Share Posted 29 June, 2010 Anyone else had problems using the 'datacleanse' section of the OS? Even the error reporting page returned an error for me! I have contacted the club and if I hear anything I'll post the info here.

Gorgiesaint Posted 5 July, 2010 Share Posted 5 July, 2010 Sorry - feel the need to resurrect this thread. I've gone to check the data which the club hold on me (which was wrong last season & I would actually like to know they have my correct info) and it says my customer number is incorrect. This is the same customer number that I used to book JPT tickets for last season. Anyway, have gone to the request form to get the correct number so I can log on & it keeps saying 'setting error'. Anyone else had this problem & know what the fix is, or who might be the best person to speak to? Thanks in advance.
The9 Posted 5 July, 2010 Share Posted 5 July, 2010 It is pretty useless. I've logged in to check the data, my data is all fine and up to date. Good good. However, the missus can't log into the data cleanse even to check what's on there, but can still log into her customer account on the ticket site and change all her details there. But using the exact same logon which the data cleanse won't accept, which is also the only data on her the club has ever held. The only conclusion I can draw is that the data cleanse doesn't apply to people added to the db in the last year (I bought the tickets before then) - but even that wouldn't explain why my information was correct as I've moved in the last year. Unless they only have "old" customers on Data Cleanse, but the most recent info. Either way, it's going to lead to loads of people checking it for no reason, and loads of people who CAN'T check it even if they want. We've now changed her information on the Ticket account, but God knows if it links to the full database. It's clearly a big pile of poo as far as accuracy goes, and their data cleansing process is worse.
the saint in winchester Posted 5 July, 2010 Share Posted 5 July, 2010 It's be an odd one for me, as well. Although I have been booking tickets online for years, it doesn't recognize my customer number (I was a member). However it does recognize my teenage son's number (although he has never bought any tickets) and it does my father's, who hasn't been to SMS for about 5 years, and died a year ago!!! You couldn't make it up. I'll be booking tickets using my son's number this season, then. I'm the lead customer in the family, the one who books the tickets, yet I'm not recognized. I write this with a wry smile, though. I'll be there next season however I have to book the tickets.

Gorgiesaint Posted 6 July, 2010 Share Posted 6 July, 2010 Having emailed the club yesterday, I had a reply this morning from Lee Hetherington who said they were having a few problems with the data cleanse. He asked me to forward my address & customer number and he would sort the problem for me. He seems to be the best person to contact if anyone else is having issues, his email address is lhetherington@saintsfc.co.uk.
