Parking for Swindon

'I'm alright Jack', I've got my Mum's house a mile up the road! You might want to try the big Tesco's or Go Outdoors stores which are around the back of the ground. Otherwise the cricket ground as above is usually OK. Just be careful leaving your car in the Walcot estate, at least if you want all four wheels when you go home!

It's an easy place to park up. There are several multi-story car parks in the town centre of which there are 3 approx 10 mins walk away. You will find street parking even closer but the 1 or 2 hour time limit means you are chancing it. As already stated there is a Tesco 5 min walk away too.

There is little in the way of housing estates near the ground apart from the Walcot estate already mentioned. I went to school there so I'm not going to knock it but it's one of the less privileged parts of town. Otherwise it's all older housing with traditional street parking with time limits.

I'll be parking in Tesco or if I get there too late for a space I'll take my chances with a free 2 hour street place. If I get really desperate I'll resort to paying in Spring Gardens multi-storey at the back of the Jurys Inn hotel.
