lordswoodsaints Posted 15 November, 2008 Share Posted 15 November, 2008 the sending off,according to a few wolves fans i spoke to after the game. they said that if we had started with 10 we would have probably beat them. they are surprised they have done so well this season and said we are only a decent striker away from being a good team. nice to know that the away fans think we are a decent side. They obviously are crap judges of what makes a decent team. We might be one decent striker away from a decent team up front (John, Rasiak have proved perfectly proficient in those roles and I'm sure that Saganowski could have netted today too), but if those Wolves fans did not notice the lightweight, leaking defence, I'm afraid I have no respect for their opinions. Arizona Posted 15 November, 2008 Share Posted 15 November, 2008 I'm not sure whether it was the 10 men factor. We'd got ourselves back into the match a while before Euell was sent off. Besides, Euell was playing well IMO. Provided the closest thing to a big lump centre forward that we've had since Kenny left. I think the sending off was what prevented us from scoring from open play and therefore wasn't helpful. DMG was never going to score on his own and Lallana and BWP were playing too far off him. I think the best thing about today was that woman proposing to her boyfriend (how emasculating) and the Northam singing, "You don't know what you're doing."
