RIP Denis Law

A true great of the game, played for both sides of Manchester, and was directly involved in relegating United when playing for City.

Old enough to have seen Law, Best and Charlton in their heyday. Possibly three of the greatest to come from these islands. RIP.

I agree with your sentiments about Denis Law, but not sure that Leon Best and Simon Charlton were of a similar standard.

Great player indeed but never forgive him for scoring the scrappy winner against us in the FA Cup Semi Final at Villa Park in 1963.
