I'm not against the bubble in principle but a potential 7am arrival time is utterly ridiculous.

I'm absolutely against it in principle as it basically criminalises fans with no evidence that that is needed, it also takes away the decision making from people and ruins the day out.

All sorted by 9.14. Lovely stuff

Yup same, noticed a fair few were already booked which seemed a bit suspect to me, hope to god the club aren't being cunts and holding some for corporates

Anyone else click the post option just on the very small chance that the club have a moment and send them out? 😅

Criminal how many were blocked out. Seemed higher than normal.

Anyone notice a big section in the middle behind the goal blocked/greyed out and not for sale. Bloody corporate again, not good.

Yep, corporate and/or friends and family. At least 200 I’d say.

More than that I reckon. This was how it looked when I logged on, that left hand block alone is 175.

Fucking pisstake that and properly offensive by the club. The mushes who put in the miles should get those tickets not some corporate numpties. These games are games for Sotonians not for tourists and corporate cunts. Really annoys me that they're doing this

Yeah it's a huge pisstake by the club, pisses me off more than the 12 point season did.

Like I say I bet they're not forced on the bubble either.

They'll be in for a shock if they expect to sit in their own seats.

Im sure the fan advisory board can speak to the club and resolve this matter. We are lucky to have such a great group to support as as the voice of the fans tackling all the important issues.

What happened to that Lucy bird that was always spouting off on twitter. Did she get kicked out?

Who exactly are these people on the fan advisory board? Do they actually go to games?

I always see the same faces at the away games, and yet I don't recognise any of them.

Absolute piss take this and has been all season. I'm sure our fanatastic "Fan Advisory Board" can shed some light on why so many are blocked out, They must they read this forum ? Any comments ?

You don't need to go to away games to join the fan advisory board. You just need to buy the kit every season, spend a fortune in fan zones, and vote for MOTM via the app every home game.

I login to the app every game just to vote for Joe Aribo , my Saints credit score must be high 😀

Almost every game you see these huge chunks blocked out from first min of sale so you know they can't be sold already, club should provide proper explanation. If we have section left empty for this or the Oxford game for example it will really piss off those fans who miss out.

I notice Arsenal fans were kicking off about 1/3rd of their allocation for Bournemouth away was held for corporate accounts etc, AMF

I was on at 9:15, can't have been more than say 100 genuine sales by that point.

Even outside of the blocks there's random entire rows blocked out.

It's a joke. If they're going to do it they could at least be transparent about it.

One for the next fans forum maybe. Either that or we could ask how FFP works again.

Keep us updated on how many left. Are you able to go back in and see how the blocks are selling? Or are you then blocked from going back in

So its likely not 2,700 and more 2,250 to 2 400 with club staff tickets taken out.

They’re expecting people to sit at Fratton. Yeah, I know…

You’re not able to look at the relevant fixture once tickets have been purchased for that match, so nobody will be able to update how sales progress unfortunately. Hopefully people who buy on later days will update as we go.

How will they stop ticketless fans travelling down to visit the fine pubs of fratton.

asking for a friend.

3 roads, a train, and the IoW & Gosport ferries are the only ways of getting to Portsea Island. It would probably be easier to set up checks at all 6 points than organising the bubble.

EDIT: Forgot the Hayling Island to Eastney ferry, but shhh, let's keep that one to ourselves

Back in the summer I made the point that the club's relationship with P&O cruises should be utilised more, bubble trip to Fratton on board a luxury cruise liner would have made more sense , nice sailing along the Solent

In 1995 for Alan Knights testimonial to slip the OB the DEF dug a tunnel from the secret meet point in Southampton to end up behind the police lines and arrive just before kick off at the fratton end. It worked a treat once word spread of our arrival the terrified skates ran onto the fratton park pitch to escape us. After the game in their desperation to get away from us they started to smash windows of local houses trying to break in and hid from their marauding local rivals. Dozens of skates were arrested that night for criminal damage such was their fear at being caught by the DEF. Funny how you don’t hear about that in their books
