The collective insanity that befalls the entire nation this time of year, and being vilified as some sort of miserable old cunt if you don't also succumb to it.

The amount of money people spend on pointless shit to give to people they don't even like being reported as the main news headline like it's a good thing.

Is camping outside a department store to be first in the queue for the Boxing Day sales still a thing? Or has the adoption of Black Friday from the US and the rise of online shopping put a stop to that now?

Ah, but you get to listen to proper Christmas tunes like Winter Wonderland by the Courteeners, On the 24th by the Twang, so every cloud etc. 

And external lights are bollox. Can't be doing with that.
