pretty positive and saying getting team working harder. Said that there were more tackles in that game than any other.

Said he would be lying if he didn't say he was delighted that Wotte has taken over from Jan

based on what i saw to day if we do get relegated at least we will do it kicking and fighting rather than rolling over and having our tummys tickled

Agree - I reckon I saw more tackles from Saints players in the first 25 mins today that in the last 4 home games, especially Gillett and Surman. They really looked up for the fight.

Their closing down and pressuring of the Swansea players was also very good today

So far so good?

Your glass is half full Nick, mine is sadly half empty.

...Wotte is becoming the next Wigley. Mr Draws and relegation! He's not that good! But, I am relieved to see the start of playing men and not boys. Total footy IS dead I think. :)

Still, gives us a little more of a chance of spinning the season out a little longer than a loss.

Or the next Pearson - remember he took 4 draws before the first win (with 2 defeats and a draw before his second).

LOL!!!!!!! - just trying to add some realism Sid. :) Anyway I know lots of survival skills to help us out while we're on the Island!!!

How the hell can anyone be happy with another draw?

Throw the guy a frickin' bone; he's had two games, one away at a side who had won their previous game 4-0 and we came back from 2-0 down, the other against a team that's unbeaten in 13 and gave our "friends" down the road a lesson just last week-end.

I always thought I was half-empty til I joined this forum; now I'd probably be called happy-clappy.....

answered before saw that others had seen the obvious NP comparison!

He appears to have sorted a lot out so far, whether its enough who knows? But the comment was on 2 games -so far so good! Whether he will be able to save us remains to be seen

wotton was awesome today, as was size and saga. they say that a decent team needs a strong spine, well davis, size, wotton and saga is a pretty good spine based on today. just need a few more too.

BUT can we please get a new right back...nothing against the lad but he cannot defend, tackle, has no pace and passes are ****e, yes granted he can cross but even i can do 1 out of 4 ;-)

Wotton was first class today.

He played with a real passion and showed how committed to the cause he is.

He sat in front of the back 4 very well and just broke up the play brilliantly. Definitely his best performance in a Saints shirt thus far.

Impressed by his post-match comments too. Says it how it is and doesn't mince his words.

Wotton could prove to be a key part to our survival plans if he continues to perform like he did today.
