derry Posted 14 February, 2009 Share Posted 14 February, 2009 Even with all the positive support we can't win. So what difference does it make. Maybe if there was plenty of ructions in the ground the players might be too timid to dare to play badly and pull their fingers out. I don't like it but just a thought. Amesbury Saint Posted 14 February, 2009 Share Posted 14 February, 2009 There needs to be a series of planned and coordinated demonstrations over the next few months both inside and outside the ground, both on match days and other days. All within the law. With the aim of ensuring the current Board resign. Lets start league 1 in the best shape we can - a united club behind a manager who knows how to win in league 1, with a new board. We also need to be an inspirational leader who takes the shell of a football club we have into a community football club that we can all invest our money, time, loyalty and passion into. We have about 5 months to transform the club for a league 1 campaign. I actually believe with the right leadership that inspires the community of Southampton and surrounding area we could have 20,000 season tickets holders next season and almost a full ground for each. I am sure with the right leader there would be many skilled people in the area who would help, with their time, to sort out every part of the club. Just need that inspirational leader. First things first, get rid of the clowns. The shareholdings are the problem and I don't see administration as part of the solution. I like your thinking. We couldn't get 20,000 season ticket holders the last time Lowe was removed and our average for that season was 23,556 which was almost 10,000 down on a full house, what chance this time. I agree we need a new board but they also need to have money because without it we will be in the same sh1t.

We are in the **** but under Lowe we have a buffon who makes poor decisions, disunites the fanbase, and has a direct negative effect on gate receipts. This makes Lowe a liability and therefore it's essential he's removed.

Please tell me who is waiting in the wings with a nice wad to bail us out of the sh1t because whoever comes in without money will be in the same situation, ie no money to spend on anything decent but at the same time still trying to reduce the debt. Dan Posted 15 February, 2009 Share Posted 15 February, 2009 what Im doing.. 1. Got a refund on my season ticket last week. 2. It's not so much a miracle worker with money, it's to get shot of the idiot that keeps thinking up revolutionary concepts that anyone but him can see are bound to fail, causing the fans to be alienated. But his and our worst problem is his personality, he is devisive and a lot of supporters just don't want him.

Its got nothing to do with someone with a wad. Someone with some sense, both football and financial, would make a difference. It is Lowe's mad experiments that have put us where we are, bringing in hopeless 3rd rate Dutch coaches who have no understanding of the CCC or even of football as far as I can see. Lowe is a failure both financially and from a football perspective he is no more qualified to run a plc or fc than most of the people are who run our banks. SaintRobbie Posted 15 February, 2009 Share Posted 15 February, 2009 I think its now reached the stage that without Wotte and Lowe standing down we're definitely going down. Therefore, reluctantly, I would now advocate protesting throughout games, particularly at SMS. We need to sneak in the banners, to humiliated Lowe and abuse his sidekicks - its the only language they understand. There is a grave threat to this club that Lowe and others are planning to consolidate their hold over the club during the process of administration. This must not be allowed to happen. Lowe has led us to our lowest position in 49 years and under his influence will continue to send us towards League 2. We have to use whatever, legal, methods we can to remove the current boardroom and do whatever WE can to encourage delisting of the plc and a takeover, no matter how small, in order to rebuild with confidence throughout the club and with the support of the fan base. Lowe has failed, is failing and will always fail.

Dan, Please can you post a thread on how you managed to get a refund on your ST. I know several people wondering how to go about it in order to protest. Grateful if you outline how ST holders go about withdrawing their support and gain a refund. Thank you

It was the mistake we made in 2003 and it is being repeated , we just use what we have badly

JustMike Posted 15 February, 2009 Share Posted 15 February, 2009 i dont think there is anything wrong with protesting inside the stadium, the players already know we are all p***ed off with lowe etc so wont make them play any different. Plus the board cant draw the curtains and pretend we are not there
Wade Garrett Posted 15 February, 2009 Share Posted 15 February, 2009 Don't protest inside the stadium. Just don't go, if you've paid for a season ticket look on it as a necessary sacrifice for the good of the club. It's the only language people like Lowe, Wilde and Askham understand. You won't be missing much anyway.

I've been saying for f**king weeks that this sentiment of not protesting during the match is just letting everyone who has let this club down so badly off the f**king hook.
