Sheaf Saint Posted Sunday at 19:25 Posted Sunday at 19:25 Just been to see The Odyssey. I've been eagerly anticipating this ever since I first read that Christopher Nolan was making it, and it's every bit as good as I hoped it would be.

A very moving film about a very brave man. You can catch it on Netflix. I watched it last night. I found bits of it difficult to follow and there didn't seem to me to be a steady flowing narrative but it captured the mood and atmosphere of the time. I don't know if watching it in Norwegian with English subtitles helped

In summary, boat load of Greeks get lost, turn up on an island, have trouble with the locals, run back to their boats - repeat. ( Plus ( spoiler ) : ALL the sex in the source material has been removed ).

Whitey Grandad Posted yesterday at 20:33 Posted yesterday at 20:33 Nobody knows who Homer was. Or if he was.
